Remarks :
In the case of my post-graduation which I have done from the School of Open Learning, Delhi University in Master of Commerce, I took the entrance test and then on the basis of my rank I got admission to the SOLDU. Annual fees were around five thousand. For two years, it was approximately eleven thousand. The admission process was smooth but it can be improved by reducing the number of formalities as we have to visit different classrooms during the whole process of admission. For my graduation I have in Bachelor of Commerce Honors from Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University, I took the admission on the basis of the Delhi University cutoff list. The fee was around eleven thousand for one year. The admission process was time-consuming it included a lot of waiting. It could be better if we were provided with the list of documents in advance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.com Honors because I was not clear about which career path I will choose in the future. So, I decided to go with Bachelor of Commerce Honors. Faculty: student ratio is 10:40. The faculty members were mostly PhD degree holders and were very friendly. The term exams were on time and were quite easy to pass. I wanted to do post-graduation so after completing my graduation I opted for further studies which are a Master of Commerce. Faculty: student ratio is 5:45. Faculty members were PhD degree holders and friendly. The term exams were on time and it was not difficult to pass.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not experience any fee hike policy in both my graduation or post-graduation. If there was any fee hike policy so, I am not aware of it. The cost to study was very economical. I paid around thirty-five thousand in three years for my graduation and approx eleven thousand rupees for my post-graduation. I neither applied for any placement nor did I get any financial assistance from the college.
Campus Life :
Annual fests were conducted only one time in the month of March in all three years of my graduation. Also, I have received a farewell from the college's side. All the books were present in the college's library. Amenities were as such proper desks, working electricals were there. Yes, my college presented different sports but I did not participate in any. There was a placement cell group run by the students of my class.
