A HONEST REVIEW ABOUT PRINCE SHRI VENKATESHWARA PADMAVATHY ENGG COLLEGE

Remarks :

The admission process was only based on marks scored by you in your exam and it doesn't have any entrance exam. You should have a good cutoff mark. And you have some scholarships for reserved children. You can also do an online application on their official website

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen this course because of it's scope. My college has well trained faculties they would be very friendly to us. The method of teaching also keeps us without getting bored. Every semester contains 4 exams and there are totally 6 semester papers to be cleared.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like HCL, TCS, Amazon, Zoho, etc have played a major role in campus interviews. Major roles offered as job role as a fresher for first 2 years and then there would be an increment. There are many projects and outcomes to clarify the task it is very hard to specify you can check social media about it

Placement Experience :

From 4 th semester students will be eligible for campus placements. Many companies will be visiting for example HCl, TCS, Amazon, Zoho, etc. Highest selected package is 10 LPA which was offered by hcl. 98percent of students are getting placed every year. My plans after getting the degree are to set a target company and to work to achieve it

Fees and Financial Aid :

Total fees for a student are 1,20,000 and including exam fees and bus fees, you will be collecting 1.5 lakh per year. If you belong to a low minority caste then you will be getting a scholarship which will be 50,000 rupees. You will be paying 1 lakh rupees as tuition fees per year

Campus Life :

Our college has good extracurricular activities. Every year there will be a freshers' party and during festivals, chief guests will be invited and students all will celebrate the festival with unity. And also there will be a good food facility in the canteen which will be cheap and in affordable price

Placement Experience:

The placement here is pretty good , we can get internships from 3 rd year onwards but the placement is after 4th year . The highest package offered here is 1.08 cpa The average package offered here is 6 lpa And if you want to get a good enough package here you will habe to study. Hard and be productive in coding it will be best if you maintain a higher cgpa than 8 . Many companies come here like amazon, google, tcs and many more.

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide well education in computer science related courses rather than other engineering courses. They can provide more hands-on learning rather than teaching in the projector. Course curriculum is good in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Artificial Intelligence and data science as I was veey much interested to learn about AI and I believe that this course has a lot of scope outside. In my college they do provide a good curriculum for this course that teaches things from the basic to advanced level. The difficulty level of exams is a bit high sometimes but if we maintain a good score overall it will be easy to pass.
