Remarks :

Eligibility: 12th in any stream from a recognised board. Application form: through the online portal of the Director of higher education, Chandigarh Reservation: All are applicable. No, the admission process is very good and everything is very much systematic

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen this course because I want to join the defence forces by clearing the CDS and AFCAT exams, so the subjects of my course are related to the syllabus. The teaching method of the faculty is very excellent, all faculty members are highly qualified and everyone had done a PhD. There are 6 term exams in my course and one had to study hard to score good marks.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies which offered internships and jobs to the students after completing the course like Paytm, Tata, Hdfc, Lic and Infosys. And many more with good stipends. All the placements were based on the course of the student

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of my course are affordable for everyone and not only for my course, but every course is also affordable in my college because my college is a government college and all classes can study here. The scholarship which I had to get is because I had to join NCC in my college and for that, I got a 40000 rupees scholarship.

Campus Life :

The feat in our college is conducted in every 2 to 3 weeks by different departments and every feat is awesome. In the whole of Chandigarh, my college had the biggest library and lots of books. Sports and extracurricular activities are very good in my college, one can join the clubs and show talent. There are many social groups in our college which are very much helpful for the college students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically , the course overall is theoretical . You just get printed notes from the tuck shop , and you are just supposed to memorize it . The syllabus is repetitive from class 11th and 12th. I completed ny graduation in 2024 , and i still had to write my answers as per DSM - 4 criteria . So the syllabus needs to be updated

The course curriculum is useful. Semester exams in our course are not very difficult if someone has been continuous in his semester studies, so they can easily pass the semester with good grades. They are very friendly with the students, and above all, they are very hardworking, one can clear their doubts to anyone in the faculty anytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses are not up to mark I think they are not useful .college doesnot provide professional courses like BCA,BBA which is a negative point and also if you pursue BA HONOURS in a particular subject still they teach us all the subjects which I think is not right and necessary and also creates burden on student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The competitive exams brings the quality of being an arts student. And I want to give some competitive exams in near future, that is why, i opt it. In our college, one semester combines two types. First one is mid semester examination and another one is final term examination. Mid semester examination takes one and half hour 's time for exams. And final term examination takes three hours' time. The mid semester examination is quite helpful for the final exam because it contains mostly 75% of syllabus which makes the students quite helpful in their final exams.

Placement Experience:

College offered various placements from call centre and air hostess. The students become eligible for the placement in their last year or can say in the 5th or 6th semester. The highest package till now is of 5-6 lakhs/year. My plans after getting this degree is to pursue a master's degree from MCM itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were too many sections of one subject also the student's strength of arts is much higher than in other courses. I chose arts for psychology and the department of psychology is too good and experienced faculty. One of the problems I faced was the daily sitting plan sometimes classrooms were empty sometimes not daily another classroom for one lecture

Placement Experience:

Typically from 5th semester onwards placement starts. Most companies offer sales roles. And you can expect average package to be around 4 LPA. Generally in my batch mostly student who wanted to go in the sales role got the placement. Others planned to go for Higher Degrees.

I do not have much knowledge about this. But for me, i dont think there is campus placement for psychology students. I plan to go for a master's degree and continue my studies, get licensed and become a psychologist.
