Remarks :
After passing out class 12 every one of us was looking for a college for further studies (B.COM) & what could be a better option than KC Das Commerce College First, a notice came out regarding the application for B.Com students on the college website. We then filled up all the necessary information and submitted the application form on the college website. A few days after the last date of application submission the merit list & waiting list for the same came out on the college website wherein the Date & time and price for the course were mentioned. Soon the day came for admission & luckily, I was on the merit list. I then went to the college on the mentioned date & time and submitted all the necessary documents and within 10 minutes my admission was completed. The students were given admission to the course by determining the min cut-off marks in class 12th, which was 80% and above.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was necessary for every student in the Commerce stream, so everyone suggested I opt for this course. Speaking about the faculty, they were so good so welcome & so friendly that no student ever had any complaints about the faculty. There were a few professors who were strict but were excellent in teaching & helping in solving any doubt a student has in mind. There were about 8-10 teachers in each department, viz., Economics, Accountancy, Banking, etc. They were so well educated each of them holding a minimum of 3 degrees including Ph.D., Masters, and many more professional degrees. Two exams happened each Semester one sessional of 50marks & one final examination consisting of 100 marks (20 marks for Assignments).
Internships Opportunities :
One of the few cons of this college is that no internships are offered here. But to see on the bright parts these small cons must be neglected. The college has many more things to offer, the festivals, the library, the faculty, the environment, the student everything here is just too much filled with a good vibe.
Placement Experience :
The placement you get in that course is not that much great like Delhi University & other well-established Universities, but you get placements to be sure. Many students from this college are now doing jobs at Market Giants, i.e., Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, Toyota, Hero, ITC, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees were somewhat fair & good value for money. Each semester costs Rs 6000 & the whole B.Com course was 36000(6sem × 6000). It is to be noted that the Center fees are charged extra each semester. Speaking about the scholarship you do not get any scholarship scheme from the college you can avail yourself of those schemes from any other sources like the government schemes. At the end of the course that is at the 6th Semester, the college gives Placement to competent students.
Campus Life :
Talking about the social life in the college it is very much amazing & entertaining. The college each year holds a sports week at the beginning of the Year. The sports week allows the student to develop a strong bond among themselves and on the other hand, compete among themselves in various games & sports. The sports week holds within itself a variety of sports & games including chess, carom board, running, kho - kho, Kabaddi, football, cricket, hockey, and many other such indoor and outdoor games. The sports week is only the beginning of the social life in the college after the sports week many other such events are held including the foundation day, the fresher's day, the bonfire event & many more social life events. For those who want to study there is a dedicated library designed only for them consisting of various books.
Other Applied Colleges

KC Das commerce college is supposed to be the best on among the top 3 Colleges in Guwahati, Assam. So for the sake of my future i didn't opted for Arya Vidyapeeth College.
