Entrance Preview :
I gave IPU-CET for btech courses in I.P. University. They don't release individual scores, rather they just release the ranks. My rank was 1600 and I chose this college because this was the best I could get through this rank.(I am a Delhi General Category student).
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is pretty much the same as in other engineering colleges. Focus is more on completing the course rather than explaining the topics. Bad ones will just dictate from book and are unable to answer your questions to your satisfaction, good ones will explain everything in detail. Most of them are M-Techs from lower tier colleges.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't had any internships yet. But I have heard that some of my seniors have got some pretty good internships from companies like Microsoft etc. Rest I dont think good companies come here for giving internships.
Placement Experience :
Infosys and Accenture are the main companies that come to the college and recruit most of the students. As they are mass recruiters, they offer something around 3.5 to 4 lakh p.a. After this mass recruitment, good companies start coming like samsung, paytm, ZS etc and offer stipend upto 8 Lakhs p.a.
College Events :
There are two fests which are celebrated simultaneously. Technical fest - Techsurge and cultural fest- Mridaang. There is low participation in technical fest and good participation in cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is as mentioned below.College Fee 80,000, University Fee 20,000 and extra 5000 for something i don't remember. The fee structure is annual.
Campus Life :
Campus life is average. There are few sport competitions held annualy. Also, college has dance and dramatics societies which are pretty active. Labs are in good conditions but uses very old equipments. Sports are alost non-existent.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is very low interaction with the alumni of the college. Rarely an event is held in which we get to meet our alumni. Other than that, only if you have joined some society, that you get to interact with your seniors.
Exam Structure :
Exams are very frequent. Two sessionals and an end term in a semester. Sessionals are taken in one full week without any gap.Usually the time table is set so that there is a single lab on each day. This leaves no chance for taking an off from the college.
