Entrance Preview :

GGSIPU conducts CET for BCA and various courses every year for admissions in its various affiliated colleges.My rank was 1493 I would have got any other college as well but I chose this as it was near and a known place by me. College takes few admissions through Management Quota as well, I was one of them as I skipped the counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BCA is the leading growing course now a days as it is the short way to wo learn computer ethics and deep knowledge as well. Course divided into 3 years of 6 semesters, each year of two semesters. Every semesters includes at least one computer science subject each sem and Mathematics upto IV semesters.

Internships Opportunities :

I wont say internships but they provide training if you want to do it from college side you should have a group with you to do so. HOD sir will arrange many training institutes for you. I did a paid training at IBM.

Placement Experience :

Placements were good before our batch.But maybe due to recession this year it had affected placements as well. But only Infosys came and we received emails others like Tech Mahindra, HCL, Mindfire Solutions etc. WIPRO, TCS, HCL, Infosys visits every year but due to recession this year, many companies haven't visited. But if you are good and eligible and in need of placement HOD sir will arrange some interviews and companies for you until you get placed.

College Events :

College celebrates Freshers and Farewell party on the fixed dates i.e. on 5th September and 30th April. Some cultural events are also celebrated like Diwali, Holi and the much more. College can organize any sports event on your demands. Some interview training sessions are also conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are 59300/- per year and the extra amount for books and any extra-curricular activities and trips. No other charges are taken in name of anything. Scholarships are also provided to SC/ST/OBC and EWS candidates. That can be from IPU or Delhi Government

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships for SC/ST/OBC and Economically Weaker Sections(EWS). Scholarships are only provided by IPU or Delhi Government, no scholarships from college side.

Campus Life :

A free campus life with less burden. Just the thing is it has a small campus but if you have friends you can make fun out of it anywhere. You are not forced to just sit in the classrooms. The Gender ratio, in general, is 60:40. Two computer labs are available one is for the first and second year and the other one is for the third year. Sports events are organized in college like Cricket, Sports day and any other you want and a sports meet is organized in university as well.

Hostel Facilities :

No hostel facility available as no students come from outside Delhi or from that far so that he/she needs a hostel.If need many PGs are available in here. The college has a combined canteen with school and frankly, it doesn't provide a good quality food and varieties.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Very helpful, seniors they are alumni now. But they always helped us and just made the tensed situations buried.

Exam Structure :

IPU conducts exams on a semester basis. And college conducts two internal examinations per semester, that may be now changed to one internal per semester due to modification in rules by IPU. External end semester exams are conducted at various exam centers in the colleges affiliated to IPU.

Admission :

I chose this as it was near and a known place by me. College takes admissions through CET and few admissions through Management Quota as well, I was one of them as I skipped the counselling. If you take admission through management you have to pay some extra charges. Charges totally depends upon management and the seats vacant.

Faculty :

Faculty members are friendly and you can share your thoughts they won't say no to help you in any situation. The faculty has 85-90% attendance yearly they skip college very rarely. Always keen to take much out of you until you want to do much. But they will always ask you too well from your side as well and if you do it you will see the reward of it in your mark sheets.

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible for the degree after the 5th sem and the companies are so good. Seriously campus placements are good. I've applied for a job is Deloitte and I got placed with a good package. The average package after bca is 2-3 lac and the max is 5 lakh. Mostly 80% of students got placed who have applied.

College is good I will recommend this to every deserving student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because only to get a certificate and on another side, I opt for a professional course. The faculty is best and the crowd is also good. Most of our professionals are Ph.D. holders without good teaching skills and are always ready to help us. Exams were considered every six months means every semester, and the exam was not quite difficult anyone can easily crack it only by going through the points and by the notes that teach providers.

A perfect college

Placement Experience:

After completing the 4th semester the students start getting information about the companies visiting for placements and if they want to apply then they can apply. There are many companies like Airtel, Deloitte, Wipro, Vivo etc that visit the campus and 5-6 or more depending upon the vacancies in their companies they hire students with an average package of 5-6 lakhs per annum of highest 2 around 22 lakh per annum. Talking about my plan I am not sure but I might go for placements and see where I stand or else take a break of 1 year or so and build myself.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. Various companies visited our college between the 5th and 6th semesters. You can expect a package of 1.93 LPA to 4 LPA which is pretty satisfactory at the graduation level. The various companies visited are WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, Mahindra Comviva.

Best Univeristy for working Individuals.

Admission:

We have to apply online simultaneously choosing the course and submitting fee. applications are available on the university website. BCA fee structure is semester-based that is we have to pay fees twice a year.

It is only a business

Remarks:

I found that if you are poor then this College is not for you because they don't listen. If you Late Submit Fees They Charge an extra amount. They don't want any excuses they say that time. They Charge Fine In Every Aspect. They do Fraud at the time of taking admission. I don't like my College and all my friends are also disappointed.

Great place to learn

Remarks:

The management should also provide some out of the campus exposure to the students as they are not aware of what and how to do things before they graduate. Workshops, events and all other things can also be arranged outside college along with some companies so that students may get a chance to see how things are done before they enter the real world.
