Remarks :

RKMRC, Narendrapur takes students every year based on their performance in the entrance examination taken by them. Different departments have different numbers of seats. You had to have 60 marks in Higher Secondary in the subject you want to study.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Talking about my department, i.e.. the Dept. In English, the professors are very qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and help the students in every way possible. The exams are taken on a semester basis.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

At the very beginning of the course, the college officials make the students know about platforms such as Internshala which help the students know about all the things about Internships and also help them join companies as an Intern.

Placement Experience :

This very year, our college has set up a Placement Cell that notifies the students time and again about the companies that are looking for recruiting students. There were a few placements earlier, until this year when our college saw a lot of students getting placed at companies like Byju's, I-steam, PWC, and others with an average salary of 5-6lack per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no fixed fee structure as such, for the fee structure varies every year. The students who do not belong to well-to-do families are given concessions in the fees and the college looks after every need and necessity of them.

Campus Life :

The campus life of RKMRC is one of the very few things in life, that students from other colleges won't get a chance to experience. The sense of companionship and camaraderieship with a tinge of religious devotion is a rare thing to experience. There is a great Library for students.

Hostel Facilities :

The college is residential which means students have to stay in the college campus, which has its own advantages and disadvantages as well. The students get the professors to clear their doubts, they get to experience the hostel environment and develop in them the sense of companionship. What is a little disheartening is that you won't be able to leave the campus without a valid outpass. You have to take permission everytime you want to get out of the college campus.

OUR BHAIRAB GANGULY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall my course is good and suitable for me but one thing that i didn't like is exam timing. Exam timing is too short . Students have to write a 14 page of a answer sheet within 1 hour. This is almost impossible. College should change this rule and should extend the exam timing.
