Remarks :
The admission process was really hard because of covid delay. But every process was online which saves up some time. Calicut University University provides allotment in merit ranking. I got this college as my top merit rank. I didn't need to have any reservations although I submitted documents regarding caste and religion. I don't really think there needs to be any change.
Course Curriculum Overview :
College life is pretty awesome. I choose the course because I love coding and also I needed my degree much more as a professional course. The faculty is adequate to the number of students and also newly constructions are on the way to ensure safe and sufficient campus facilities. The teaching staff are well educated by degree and have so much depth knowledge on the subject. Exams are semester wise but they are disoriented now because of the pandemic and the university is trying its best. The exams are kind of easy till now but the coming semesters would be much much tougher.
Placement Experience :
The students are eligible for campus placement after the 5th semester(final year). Companies like TCL, Infosys, and some regional tech companies are actively helping students to get internships. Companies offer around 150000 - 400000 as an average package. And students get about a 40% chance to get a job after completing the degree. My plan is to get a campus interview in a decent package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college is a self-financing college so we must be paying regular fees as per the management's suggestions. Overall the cost of the study is not much of an issue. We have a post-metric scholarships at the college. These scholarships are provided by the central government and it's really financial aid to students.
Campus Life :
There are NSS, Palliative, and different student clubs that are run by students which are effective in student life. The campus doesn't offer many more social activity clubs to support students' social life.
