Remarks :
It is good college in all aspects. There is no bad remarks. But they need to improve in practical level of teaching skills to students.
Entrance Preview :
I have went through anna university counselling. Based on merit i got a seat in this college. I have scored 195.25 cut off in 12th examination. I know about the college very well before joining that it has very good results and best in placements that is 100 percent placement so i opted this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
SSN has a lab research center for the crystal growth and many research were going on. If we want to do any contribution to research we need to apply some criteria will be there to qualify for the research fellowship. Once that is completed we can start our research in particular field.
Internships Opportunities :
Staff will have contacts with good companies. They will try to help the students for who is willing to do internship. And in college also there are lot of research centers are there. they will give stipend amount 10K per month those who do research under the college.
Placement Experience :
SSN is meant for 100% placement. It has very good companies for placement. If a company need to recruit the student of SSN there is a minimum package of 3Lakhs more than that companies will be allowed by placement cell of this college. College Events :
For cultural events and symposium all things are been conducted and made publicity to all colleges so that they can also attend the events conducted by our institution. There are separate labs are there for the Robotics and programming. They will call Cine stars on the every occasion of cultural. And if it is technical related symposium they will call the very big head of that particular field and we will have a detailed session on this.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Yes it is feasible. The anna university approved fees structured are followed here. No more extra fees will be charged on the students. the tuition Fees 32K and maintenance cost 60K. Total fee will be around 93K. And It is ok to pay because we have a very good lawn facility Clock Tower more and more lab facilities in all ways there is no problem.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Yes there are lot scholarships offered by our college. For the top three in each department they will give the money of 90K,50K and 30K accordingly.
Campus Life :
It is too good to study here. Not only in academics we are showing 100% placement. In sports cricket player Ashwin came from our institution and many of them excelled their talents and are welcomed be our management. For cultural events and symposium all things are been conducted and made publicity to all colleges so that they can also attend the events conducted by our institution. There are separate labs are there for the Robotics and programming.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are awesome. All rooms are A1 class. There are single rooms also if they are willing to pay. It is called as NRI hostel. The bathrooms are also well maintained in this hostel. The mess food is average because it depends on the contractor. The contractor will change every year based on the student reviews and comments. Student can also suggest the Vendor.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes it is very helpful, there are separate groups are created for the alumni people. so they can be connected. They will contribute some amount through alumni for the rural students. Not only in terms of finance, they will refer the jobs where they are if there is any vacant is there. By doing so juniors also get placement easily and i found that this is the efficient way of job openings and make them to place.
Exam Structure :
the way of teaching in the college is very different and it will be more and more application oriented. So it won't be much hectic when we face the exam. Even u can see the pass percentage SSN college will be in top. Labs will be very strict, if we know the experiment or program we can pass through the labs or else we need to re appear for the particular lab. It is not like they will put grace mark and make them pass.
Admission :
I got admission via anna university counselling. I got seat on the merit basis. I have scored 195.25 cut off in 12th examination. I have applied the engineering counselling after 12th Board school. Then they called me based on my cut off. They gave option to select your college. I have chosen this college.I know about the college very well before joining that it has very good results and best in placements that is 100 percent placement so i opted this college. Because of this placement reason i chosen this college.
Faculty :
There is restriction for the college to be a staff. They need to be from very prestigious institute like IIT, NIT or anna university. That is first qualification for the staff. and college will take care of their finances like they will give house for living inside the college. And the brought up itself from IIT so they are very good in knowledge transferring and in the education as well as the practically.
