Remarks :
Nothing is flawless and perfect. Everything is its own perks and drawbacks so do college has. My experience was good through out the college life.
Entrance Preview :
The time when I took admission , no particular competitive exam was required for BCA and moreover I gor admission on Percebtage basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Primarily, students are well prepared for the future by covering all the required aspects of the subjects. Moreover, the way of teaching is interactive as teachers use Projectors for detailed explanations. Also students are prepared for future by making them use projectors for PPTs as assignments.
Internships Opportunities :
To be very honest, when I completed my Graduation from GNIMT in 2009, they sent us to the Job fests but there was no provision of INTERNSHIP.
Placement Experience :
Specifically, the college has separate cell for JOB PLACEMENT which is accountable for the tie ups with the companies and they conduct interviews for the students and try their best to provide the students job opportunities. Rest, potential students get jobs and succeed, of course.
College Events :
Interestingly, college is quite active for the cultural programs and other academic activities. College had best Bhangra team which participated at several levels and honoured with accolades. Apart from this, youth festival is also organised at college and college helps to hone the skills of the students. Next, students are also active in sports. I , myself participated in inter-college cycling championship and won two gold medals.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Generally, almost all the colleges follow the norms and fee structure of the universities and the same is happening at GNIMT. Yes, it is feasible in this cutting edge world where inflation is on the rise. By comparison, for destitute students it is undeniably exorbitant.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Neither I know nor I availed any of such facility. However, I heard from some students that college provides free or discounted education to the students who cannot afford their fee.
Campus Life :
College life is wonderful and the memories are indelible. So, for me as a student, everything was upto the mark. The college has big lab and auditorium is magnificent. Besides that, the seminar hall is spacious and well built. All and all the college provides all the facilities and best education.
Hostel Facilities :
Ooops ! I am not aware about the hostel and mess facilities.I was a regular student and did not come across any hostler. But yes, the college has canteen where the food is delicious and hygienic too. Canteen is famous for the Samose Chhole and Maggi.
Alumni/Alumna :
College is quite good with building connections with the students.A registration page is formed and circulated to the Alumni through the facebook page. Yes, it is helpful.
Exam Structure :
Examinations are indispensable part of student life and college authorities are very particular their exams. The the MSTs are mandatory for students in order to appear in final examination. Exams are conducted properly and decorum of the examination is maintained while the exams are conducted.
Admission :
Well ! The process is very simple. The staff is very cooperative and there is admission cell where the staff counsel the student and guides for appropriate course and also delineates the process and asks for required documents. Further, the year,2009 when I went to this college after completing my senior secondary with inter arts (Maths), I was guided to meet the concerned person who was Mr. Gagan Sharma at that time. He was the head of the admission cell during that tenure. He guided me with the fee structure as well as the course. I was elated with such a smooth process and got admission same day.
Faculty :
Categorically, the staff is highly educated and has vast knowledge of the course and related subject. Most importantly, professors hardly skip their lectures and prepare the students for the victorious career. It is the dedication of the teachers and delivery of the lectures which aided me to score 80% in my graduation along with distinction.
