Remarks :

I got admission through the KEAM entrance exam merit list. since I am on the merit list and got admission for mechanical engineering. my fees are also fair because of the merit list of candidates. there are management seats and NRI seat allocation to the candidates which are quite expensive

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the facilities are highly qualified. most of the are qualified with MTech and good teaching experience. some of the teachers hold doctoral degrees also. They have good communication skills with the students

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

Institutions take a special step to prepare the student for the placement season are they give special classes and motivation classes for the students about the placement and interview. The general step followed by these companies companies choose the candidate by conducting interviews and checking the curriculum activities and the percentage of Mark they obtained from the University exams. The college is inviting several companies to take the interviews and placement. I have a placement cell and they in which level company to conduct the placement on the college campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is huge per year of the course period of my BTech course is 4 years. The college provides loan facilities to the students. the students can repay the loan after the course period and can enter the job

Campus Life :

The gender ratio in college is one: one. there are good workshops available there is no discrimination between students by the college management there is no campus politics inside the college the college authorities are very stricts

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. The college hostel is very well maintained and good rooms for students. The monthly rentals are around 4000. The hostel provides good food in this rental. The hostel has good hygiene and a clean atmosphere. A good warden for students and 24 hours of security available.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
