Kuchinda College

Kuchinda college is the oldest college in western Odisha which gives quality education. There is no entrance exam held in the college for admission in ug courses at my time. Classes start from 7 am to 2 pm and there are practical classes from 2 pm to 4 pm (Thursday and Saturday every week). The teaching method was good. Overall I enjoyed my study here. I mention the Odia course because Odia is a very simple teaching method that is very good at all Sambalpur University. All exams are very timely and very hard process.

It is a government college so the fees for the courses are very low. Scholarships are given to poor students. There are many Honours of the kuchinda science fees are 7000, commerce fees are 6500 and art fees are 5892.

There were two hostels at my time one for girls and another for boys. I used to stay in girls' hostels. The college does not provide a meal facility to students. The infrastructure was not that good. The college building was also a bit old.

Festivals like Ganesh puja, saraswati puja, anual function, teachers day celebration, and annual sports day are held every year. The life in college was very enjoyable. I have learned many things besides studies in my college.
