Remarks :

The management of the college is very supportive for the student's and provide good faculties and study environment .The management also conducts events like arts and sports days and technical fests

Entrance Preview :

I have appeared Kerala entrance examination and got Rank 28065.And I choose this college because Academic history was good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The cariculam followed by the college has been approved by AICTE and Kerala government.It covers all the main core subjects and theories.And it is well divided into 8 semesters.In the last 5 semesters there are elective subjects which are related to the mechanical engineering and business studies

Internships Opportunities :

There were no internships provided in the college .But faculties allowed us to go for industrial visits in each year and give appropriate training sessions

Placement Experience :

There is a seperate wing for placements in this college .Each year around 20 companies comes to the college for the placements.Many of the companies are well known in India like wipro accenture etc .since I was in mechanical engineering department there were 4 companies came for the placements.I have got placement in Servo packages pvt Ltd in Pondicheri

College Events :

Arts days ,sports days,college days and technical fests are celebrated in our college .All of the programs are charted and coordinated with student participation There are programs by well known artists and other colleges are also participated in the events celebtrated in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure followed by the college is under the Kerala government.In a class of 60 students 30 students have to pay 35 k and 30 have to pay 60k yearly This is according to the rank of the student's According to the law of government one student in each class is educated at free of cost

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarships provided by government and college management to the student's good at academics,sports and arts.College management helps for the claiming of education loan from the bank

Campus Life :

The college life was a good one.The college faculties and management has helped for the successful completion of course.The infrastructure provided by the college was best in its class and good lab facilities are provided .extra caricular activities and technical fests are conducted in the college

Hostel Facilities :

The college has it's own hostel and mess .The food provided in the mess is clean and different in each day.In each rooms there will be 3 students maximum and the rooms are spacious enough to accomadate them.Sanitary convinces are according to the no of students

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an alumni association in the college and periodic meetings are carried out.Other social activities are carried out by the alumni association

Exam Structure :

The exams are carried out according to the timetable provided by university of Kerala. There will be adequate break time between each exams .The lab exams are scheduled by the college itself and it is scheduled according to the student's concerns .Lab exams are carried out in roll number manner so all of the student's get adequate time for preparation

Admission :

Admission process was done by the single window process by Kerala government.After the allotment I have to go to the college with the DD of first year fees and have to pay other feeses in the college and application forms are filled.Anti raging declaration and mobile prohibition policies are signed

Faculty :

All the faculties in this college are well qualified and studied in reputed institutes in India like IITs and VIT.And all of them good at teaching also.They also help the student's in studies and other things.They also help to choose the appropriate elective subjects for each students

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
