Remarks :
The experience was average. If I had a chance, I would advise the students to take entrance exams and try to choose a better government college like IIT.
Entrance Preview :
I did not attend any entrance examination for this college. Got seat from college in Management quota. I chose this college because of these two reasons, 1. It was nearby my home and the transportation was easy. 2. College fee was comparatively low.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure was pretty average. The course was purely based on the performance in written exams to score better grades. The course was not at all based on research. Some subjects were really outdated and didn't keep up with advancements in the Industry.
Internships Opportunities :
They did not provide any internship programmes. Like I said, our college was not a job or practical knowledge oriented. Most of our friends still suffer without a job.
Placement Experience :
They did provide placement programmes. But they were almost useless because the placement programs were from companies which were not related to our core fields. (E.g., We got placement programs for BPO's voice process executives/ sales executives). Salary was very low. (like 10,000 Rs per Month)
College Events :
Technical Symposium - Yes (Once a year) - Was memorable and we had participants from other colleges. Nearly 4-5k students. Cultural - Yes (Once in all 4 years) - Not that Good. Since it is a Muslim college, we had Iftar parties every year for a month. These parties were really memorable.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure was feasible. Fees were comparatively low when compared to other colleges. I paid like 35,000 Rs course free per year. We also had some scholarship programs. College fees structure was feasible and were not a big burden. Thanks for the Management
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship facility was provided by our college. Scholarships for students were given upon certain conditions: 1. Handicapped 2. Minority Religion 3. First Graduate in the Family College also gave NOC and supportive documents to obtain a loan from the banks.
Campus Life :
The college was slightly religious. Rules were slightly based on Islamic rules. Peace of mind was maintained inside the college campus. Gender equality was given by the management. Campus environment was friendly regardless the diversity in Gender, Race, Religion and Economic status.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities in the college were average. Games and sports were not given importance. A very small gym facility was provided. But the food provided in the hostel mess was really good and they met their quality standards in terms of quality, taste and Nutrition.
Alumni/Alumna :
Once we left the college, alumni were invited once for a management silver jubilee partly. This was the only event the alumni got together inside the college campus.
Exam Structure :
We got exams on every month. Our staffs call it as cycle test. Labs internal scores of a student will be based on the results of these exams. We were having a really hectic day. But the Labs were not that frequent. Lab externals were probably bribed to pass the students.
Admission :
We got a notification through postal since my Father was a member of the College trust. I got preference to join the college in management quota. College administration was polite and the admission process was very smooth and polite. I directly chose the college since it was near to our home and college fee was comparatively low.
Faculty :
The Faculties of our college were purely focused on theoretical preparation for the exams. They were almost zero in providing practical knowledge to the students. Faculties were only good enough to train students to score well in exams, This college is really in need of good faculties.
