Remarks

The admission process is neat and clean. They call according to the slots and get the job done with ease. All the processes are carried out in a single day. They would ask for board certificates and keep them until the course finishes.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The semester exams were conducted by BPUT, which is the affiliation body to CIPET. Considering the difficulty of the terms, the paper was averagely difficult and could cause problems for average students. The faculties are generally on guest modes. Some of them are exceptionally good while some are just for namesake. Despite being a central government body, the campus has very poor academics as well as a poor administration.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hikes were made very rarely. The cost to study was very good, while the cost of materials such as project record books and all such materialistic things seemed to be pretty much expensive. The college never provides scholarships while the government does. One very common scholarship was Medhabruti by the govt. Of Odisha. The campus placement at the college is pathetic, at least during my time. Due to the poor administration and very poor academics, there would be hardly any big companies coming for job placement.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is small yet packed with every activity. While the cafeteria and playground can be said as unavailable, students have managed to make themselves a playground. The annual fest is called Vidyansh and it happens with a lot of excitement and chaos. Sports and extra-curricular are very regular and on time. There are clubs and groups of students but they hardly operate regularly.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The in-campus hostel is facilitated with very less beds compared to the number of students. The rooms are two or three bedded but are over-occupied. The meal facilities are available on an actual basis. The food is very unsatisfactory and depends upon the catering partners. Sometimes, it even happens that they won't cook for some days.

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm so much interested in metallurgy and I didn't took this course by seeing the curriculum. First year curriculum does not prepare us for real world application but from second year it does prepare us for real world application. Extra subjects should be removed from curriculum which does not have any role in future of the course. Frequency is good and difficulty level is average for me.
