Remarks :

The qualification required for the Hotel Management course is +2. All the details about the application form, fees, and dates are available on the official college website. An official chat exam will be held, after which, based on your results, a very friendly and simple interview will also be conducted where you will be asked for your details and also why you chose this course and other such simple questions. They were also kind enough to interact with our parents and clear out their doubts. Son after that, you would receive a selection mail and you would officially be an IIHMmite.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course to learn, explore and experience the culinary world to its fullest. IIHM provides the students with a friendly and inspiring learning environment through well-equipped classrooms and practical labs, skilled and supportive faculty members, and guest lectures by various prominent speakers from around the globe who share with us their thoughts, ideas, perspectives, and experiences and challenges in the industry. IIHM's international curriculum has been made for the students to learn through research, hotel visits, practical sessions, and many more...

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 188000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have currently completed my first year and I am yet to do my internship in the upcoming year. Students can do internships both in India as well as abroad. Excited and looking forward to a wonderful, fun-filled experience with lots of things to learn.

Placement Experience :

IIHM assures 100% placements for its students. Various top 5star properties like Hyatt, Taj. Oberoi and many more visit the campus during interviews and we get laced according to our performances. Students are also offered management trainee programs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

A student is expected to pay Rs.1,88,000 for first and second year and Rs.1,60,000 + 850 euros for UWL which is optional. Students are also offered Scholarships depending on their scores in 10th and 12th.

Campus Life :

IIHM provides its students with opportunities to take part in various events and competitions like Breakfast Buffet, Realia, Food Fest, Foundation DAy, Rookie chef competition, Superchef Competition, YCO, etc.... through which the students get a wide exposure to various working techniques, students get to learn a lot of things and also build their leadership qualities and teamwork. IIHM also provides its students with well-equipped labs and libraries.

Campus placement is not very good, there are multiple reasons, one of them is that students are also not interested in placement they are not focused in their studies. The placement cell of the college has also failed to bring popular companies to the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided for mba students. But the undergraduate students can go for internship to hospital and gain experience. But there is no stipend for management students internship. Almost 99% students get placement.

Best days in my life.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start right from the year 3 . sem 5. TAJ, THE LEELA, OBEROI, MARRIOTT GROUP and retails such as PUMA, TOMMY HILFGER etc. also QSR such as KFC, TACO BELL too have come for placement drive. The highest package offered was 25000-30000. 95 percentage. As I have already got a job through college once after the college ends, will further proceed to work.

IIHM is best college in terms of achieving international level of education and exposure.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. All hotel brand comes for recruitment for various post, especially for associate and management trainee post. 100% of student placement is done by the college. After achieving this degree, I have a plan to work for a hotel brand and become its asset.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every 4-6 months there would be semester exams and the IGNOU exams would come once a year. The coaching they give for IGNOU exams even being a distant exam is pretty good. The teachers are there for the students at all times to clear their doubts and all.

My views on IIHM BANGALORE (A Hotel Management College)

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Oberoi Hotels, Marriot Hotels, Leela palace Bangalore, Ritz Carlton hotel etc. Average package of a graduate will be 25k per month and the highest will be 30-40k based on the hotel. Nearly 85% of the students get placement by their graduation. My plans if to join a good chain hotels and join as a bartender.
