Remarks :

The college came first when I searched for hotel management colleges 2 years back when I was looking for good colleges, I got recommendations from some of my family members. I got in and the first year I couldn't attend college due to the COVID scenes. 2nd year when I came to college whole new world opened up for me, both for improving myself and getting so many opportunities. Recently I did my WSET exams and it was a very good experience. I'm looking forward to the placement now. I got some pretty good reviews from my seniors regarding the placements too.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Every 4-6 months there would be semester exams and the IGNOU exams would come once a year. The coaching they give for IGNOU exams even being a distant exam is pretty good. The teachers are there for the students at all times to clear their doubts and all.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 188000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure for the first year, second year, and 3rd year is1,88,000Rs each, and it can be done in installments too, which I found pretty amazing. Most of the colleges won't allow more than 2 installments but here they allow us to pay by installments until the year gets over.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of club activities and each specialization has different clubs by which we can get to study more of the subjects in a fun and interesting way. Apart from that, we have cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments which happen every year.

Campus placement is not very good, there are multiple reasons, one of them is that students are also not interested in placement they are not focused in their studies. The placement cell of the college has also failed to bring popular companies to the college.

Good university

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided for mba students. But the undergraduate students can go for internship to hospital and gain experience. But there is no stipend for management students internship. Almost 99% students get placement.

IIHM is best college in terms of achieving international level of education and exposure.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. All hotel brand comes for recruitment for various post, especially for associate and management trainee post. 100% of student placement is done by the college. After achieving this degree, I have a plan to work for a hotel brand and become its asset.

My views on IIHM BANGALORE (A Hotel Management College)

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Oberoi Hotels, Marriot Hotels, Leela palace Bangalore, Ritz Carlton hotel etc. Average package of a graduate will be 25k per month and the highest will be 30-40k based on the hotel. Nearly 85% of the students get placement by their graduation. My plans if to join a good chain hotels and join as a bartender.
