Remarks :

Eamcet exam is the entrance exam for the admission in our college, for the ece course you need to get a rank below 20k in the entrance examination for OC students needs to score better rank ie, below 7k roughly. The complete application details are always available in ap.eamcet.nic website at the time of admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since ECE is also one of the demanding courses in B. TECH after CSE. So, I choose this course. The student-faculty ratio is 25:1. Qualification of the faculty is good The minimum qualification is M. Tech and some faculty have Ph.D. The teaching method is good 3 out of 5 Because of lockdown due to covid in 2020-21 the sem schedule is compressed to only 4½ months rather than 6 months. Since this is JNTU the question papers are a little bit tough and so difficult to pass.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are some companies that collaborated with our college for internships such as VERZO+IBM etc. The internship's time period is 2 months and the outcome of the internship is to do some real-time projects which help to build our resume.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements but the student should have zero backlogs. Infosys, Wipro, tata, cognizant and many other companies are visited in our college The highest package is 8lpa for the minimum students The average salary is 4.5 lpa But there is no guarantee and less chances to the placements for mech, civil, food technology students The students should have 70 percentage to eligible for the placements My plan after getting the degree is to do job with the decent package

Fees and Financial Aid :

12k is the basic tuition fee. And if you are eligible for the JVD (Jagananna Vidya Devena ) scheme the you will get fee reimbursement and if you are not eligible for the JVD you need to pay the fee of your own there are no scholarships that the university provides.

Campus Life :

The campus life is good and rag free. Recently we conducted fest ECLATECS2K22 in the month of March from our department the students from various colleges participated in it. In this fest, there is events for technical and non-technical students For every 2 years, there is a chance to conduct a fest from each branch. Since our college has 6 branches so every year 2-3 fests are a must. In our college, there is a library facility and E-library facility also for free. And the classrooms are too good with nice infrastructure. Every year our college conducts college day, and freshers day. In these events, there will be sports and extracurricular activities for the interested talented students There are also some clubs but not so well managed ie. Coding club, film club, sports club, etc.,

Hostel Facilities :

In every hostel room, there are 3 cots for three students, 2 fans , 2 tubelights, balcony with nice ventilation. Food quality is not good. We the students always protest for the good quality of food atleast once in 2 months. Hostel registration is easy and it can be done at the time of admission at the hostel department. 100 rupees for the each day food but low quality and there is also 500 maintainance charges per head. So overally 3500 ruppes for the month but not worthy.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

students from 3rd year 2nd semester onwards are eligible to apply campus placements. TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc. they offer 70 percentage placements in our college. Amazon offered 44 LPA, TCS highest packge is 9 LPA Accenture highest package is 6 LPA. after completion of my BTech i want to become an AI tool engineer.

Story of Vignan University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't like the course curriculum at all. When I joined the college it was like a regular curriculum muds and one final sem exams. But when we going to 2nd year the curriculum was changed, if i knew about that, wouldn't joined there. The curriculum makes the students to form a batch of 4 students and have to do the Team work. Those 4 students have to share the work of each subject and prepare themselves for the viva. Frequency of the exams are well introduced.

Review With my own perspective and experience

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by college though it's recession period, they tried their best. From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Accenture, Mind x360, Gen technologies, Astroline, servo Medha. Number of offers are very low to some companies and some companies hired more 100 in count. In the recession periods 60 and above percentage of students are get placed. In normal times 90 and above percentage of students are getting placed. I aimed for job initially after that I want to become an entrepreneur.

First of all College is a one of the premium institute in Nellore.The main focus of college is to place all the studets in any company with a good salary.College has good faculty members and they teach in very effective manner.As college is located in the NH5 highway it is easy to transport.
