Remarks :

Anyone can apply for psychology honours, I took admission by filling DU form but for the students who will be applying from 2022 will have to go through CUET. 50% marks will be considered from boards and rest 50% will be the score from CUET. Seats are reserved for OBC SC and ST. In previous years taking admission was much more hectic, but as of now you don't need to go to college whole process will be online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I basically had interest in psychology that's why I choose this course and the college is very much nearby to my place that's why I took admission in this college. The faculty here is just okay okay because for a strength of 200 there are just 5 teachers. Two of which are professors and the remaining 3 are in their processes of PhD. Teachers don't give internal marks so easily. Overall the faculty is fine.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very much minimum, for a course of 3 years I just paid around 30k. Scholarships are being provided as per do you norms and stipends are also given to hi rankers. Generally the scholarships are for students whose parents income is less than 3K.

Campus Life :

The college has a lot of fest in the month of November to March. There is a library in which all the books are available and even if you want some other book you can visit central library of du. Classrooms are just fine. There are lot of societies and clubs which you can join based on your interest other than that there is a good availability of sports ground, equipment and trainers as well.

Great Time At Hansraj!

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Jamia Millia Islamia: A Competent Choice for Future

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

BA Program at St. Stephen's College

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.
