Advantage of Studying in IACG

The admission process is very easy and the college faculty and management are very welcoming, they ask about every student's interest and the best course to pick for the student which is more suitable for them. There will be an entrance exam for any student who is taking admission here in IACG, Which is pretty easy to take (mostly asks us about our interests and our software levels and understanding). The eligibility for any course here is 12th and a minimum mark of 65%. The application form for the college is available at the front management office, where the management will help to fill everything in the form with the fee packages of 1.2lakhs, 1.5lakhs, and 2 lakhs Depending on the branch we want to apply for. The application dates after submitting the form are given by management right after all the documents and forms necessary are submitted. The reservation Benefits are available if we opt for any. Details about Reservation can be given and clarified by the management.

The Course Curriculum is pretty decent and easy to grasp for any students who have an interest in this course. The Syllabus goes step by step to make it easier for the student to grasp the whole software's knowledge. The faculty are very easy to approach and are friendly with every student. They help the student to do the work process in real-time so that it is easy to apply for any job. Real-time learning helps us to prepare from the beginning for the job mindset. Multimedia course contains of 4 years in which the first 2 years are the basic learning of all the software and from the beginning of the third year, the student is given a choice to choose any specialization like Gaming, VFX, Animation, Art & Design, MTL and many more. I Chose Art & Design because I love doing art since childhood and I want to keep continue doing it in the professional field. The Faculty-Student ratio is about 10 for 80 but is easy to approach for anyone. The term exams are practical to test the student's practical skills.

I Worked as a Jr. 2D artist in IACG Productions for 1 year and I think it is the best experience for me, I learned how to work in real-time and manage my work properly as a professional. Dealing with clients is my weak point from way before. But I got better at handling clients through this internship. The Projects I worked on are Character design for GoLive Interactive Gaming company, 3D Character Designing for Technicolor, Background arts for the Production, and UI design for the working game "Plant Perfect" made by the IACG Productions.

Most of the students usually get into the campus placements as they are made job-ready from the beginning if not the production studio in the college can take them on the payroll as they learn to grow more. The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 7th Semester. The companies like Cognizant, Strand, Rocksalt, and many more visited the college for the students which are the best in their respective fields. The highest packages given are like 9 -10 lakhs pa and average is about 4-5 Lakhs pa. I am planning to go abroad for higher education after I get the degree, mostly to the USA for a master's in Illustration.

The fee structure is based on the branches available here in Hyderabad which are at Jubilee Hills and Dilshuknagar. Fees in Jubilee Hills are about 1.5 Lakhs and in Dilshuknagar are about 1.8 Lakhs. The Whole average fee Package is 6lakhs. The opportunity for Scholarship depends on the intermediate marks and the Discipline remarks of the Student. Incubation will begin in the final year of the course when the students are made to work in the production studio of the college which gives the student the capability of directly dealing with the clients and the campus placements are given to every student at any cost.

The Campus life is very friendly and everyone here is very approaching to us. I, personally, feel like I'm given a family here on campus with lots of people that are very helpful and friendly. There are many things to do here in college like sculpting, Sketching, painting, game designing, arts, etc. including sports. Fests like annual day and animation day will become busy as every student will contribute to any work and make the fest successful at any rate. There are many different kinds of books available in the library that are helpful for study and entertainment or refreshment. Film-making people form clubs for making short films and that require help from every specialization student like people from VFX help in effects, filmmakers direst the short film animaters help in animation, art and design help in creative scenes and whatnot. so students usually form groups and make a variety of short films or animated films or games.
