Pros and cons of KIIT

Remarks :

The eligibility for this course is a minimum of 60% on 12th boards. The admission process is done through an exam called the KIITEE entrance test. The application form will be available on the official website of KIIT.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum and faculty members both are amazing. I chose this course because of my interest in the particular subject. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. The faculties are highly qualified and their teaching methods are just perfect.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees Structure is that we pay fees semester wise i.e. once every 6months. They take different payments for hostel and mess fees and different for the study thing. A good level of placements is offered in our college.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is conducted towards mid of October. There is a very good campus life that one can enjoy. There are very many books available at the library according to one's needs. The ground for social life and co-curricular activities are great.

Hostel Facilities :

For hostel facilities, we have an AC room for those who can afford it. Personal bathroom attached with them. All the needed things like laundry, blanket, etc. are provided. The menu is good but the meal quality is not that great, it could be better. The registration process for a hostel is through the students' SAP portal.

Other Applied Colleges

Sri Sri University | B.A. English Hons

I got a more better option at Kalinga Institute.

Overall for teacher education it is one of the best institute. But if you want to pursue for masters purpose or for any other scope then it will not be effecient for you. It's syllabus is also basically based for teachers only.

Remarks:

The college needs to develop a lot at infrastructure and faculty recruitment. Smart classes should be integrated in every department and the the +2 block should be separated from the +3 block so that lecturers can take classes on time.

Remarks:

College is nice, the infrastructure is old. I think a bit more focus on the infrastructure can help it look better, which I think they have already started, because last time when I was in Bhubaneswar, the entry point was looking different. I also feel that some professional short-term courses should be made a mandatory part of the regular curriculum, and the placement camps should be frequent and umpteen. And, a bit more engagement of the students with the community development related activities would also be better.
