Remarks :

In order to join our college, we need to complete our Intermediate and qualify in EAMCET conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The application will be available on the official Website of the AP intermediate board. Reservation will be there for the students. Selection will be done based on our Rank in EAMCET. Certain branches will be having different ranks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the first year, subjects will be the same for every branch student which are basics related to every branch. And from 2nd-year core subject starts. All our faculty are with PhD graduation and M.Tech graduates. Labs will be there for every branch student. In the final year, we need to do the project. And that project should be submitted at the end of the 4th year.

Class Size : 66Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

College management does not provide any internships. We need to search for internships outside the campus and proceed with that. Projects will be done in groups. Each batch will be having at least 6 students. The project should be submitted within the span of 3 months.

Placement Experience :

IT sector students get more opportunities in campus placement. Non-IT sector gets very less opportunities on the core side. Companies like Capgemini, TCS, Wipro etc., come to hire the students. The highest package of the college is 6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Every student should pay 10000 per year as a college fee. For some reservations, students Government of AP will provide that money and for non-reserved students, they need to pay their own money. We can apply for some external scholarships like ONGC scholarship, National merit Scholarship etc.

Campus Life :

We have NSS unit for Social life. NSS unit is with almost 100 students where events will be conducted by the college management. Fests will be conducted every year by different branches. Freshers day is conducted every year for the freshers and college day will be conducted for the fourth year batch.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is facility is not that good, but we can manage with the facilities. Hostel rooms will be registered by the college management itself. Once we join the hostel, the hostel fee will start. The hostel management charges 72 rupees per day. Hostel fee can be paid through online process.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Story of Vignan University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't like the course curriculum at all. When I joined the college it was like a regular curriculum muds and one final sem exams. But when we going to 2nd year the curriculum was changed, if i knew about that, wouldn't joined there. The curriculum makes the students to form a batch of 4 students and have to do the Team work. Those 4 students have to share the work of each subject and prepare themselves for the viva. Frequency of the exams are well introduced.

Review With my own perspective and experience

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by college though it's recession period, they tried their best. From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Accenture, Mind x360, Gen technologies, Astroline, servo Medha. Number of offers are very low to some companies and some companies hired more 100 in count. In the recession periods 60 and above percentage of students are get placed. In normal times 90 and above percentage of students are getting placed. I aimed for job initially after that I want to become an entrepreneur.

First of all College is a one of the premium institute in Nellore.The main focus of college is to place all the studets in any company with a good salary.College has good faculty members and they teach in very effective manner.As college is located in the NH5 highway it is easy to transport.
