Remarks :
Admission process was quite fair as it always is with the IPU, You have to give your CET exam and according to your marks , you get the college. I think this is really good as it is not merit based and also , there's not too many reservations as in the case for DU or any other Universities. All the forms are available online . The only improvement I want to see is that there should be some time given to students to think which college they want to take.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chooses this course because I was interested in management, I think the faculty of this college is really helpful and pretty good. They are supporting us in all the projects, We have faculty with doctorates and degrees from other countries too, although the teaching method can sometimes be too rigid, it always depends on the teacher. We have to give 2-3 internals every semester before giving one final external. The exams are pretty easy and you can pass it easily.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee structure of my college or I should say IPU is really bad. Even at the times of COVID, they kept increasing the fees which was really bad, just before COVID the fees was 86000 and now it is around 106000 , moreover the salaries of teaching is cutted off to around 70%. This is the only thing that I think is wrong and should be changed. Campus Jobs are available but still most of the companies that come are sales based, which you can find anywhere around.
Campus Life :
There are many fest that takes place in our college, rather than having any annual fest, our societies have different fests of their own. For example the best fest is Chayankan which is organised by WAC ,more fests like Litfest, Tamasha, etc takes place too. The social life in college is really nice. The jamming sessions on the stands, Playing football on ground are some of the things I love to do. Although the official sports teams are not that active in college, but for the extra curricular activities, there are many societies you will love, We have theatre , writing, music and many more. Recently some students also started the gender sensitization club which I think is a really good initiative.
