Entrance Preview :

I appeared in the general entrance test in university of himachal at shimla becoz in my father's opinion universities are more relieble than private institutes.Got selected in mlsm college for bba course. Then i had to appear in interview by management department head.Thereby i got selected and my journey started.

Internships Opportunities :

For intership there was rs.6000. I did my internship at hpmc juice factory. Hpmc is a big company. There are many departments in hpmc. I did my training in marketing and packaging.

Placement Experience :

At the end of the fifth semester a lot of companies used to arrive at college for placements. I got hired as corporate sales officer by tata indicom.

College Events :

There were many management events and mad shows, freshers party, graduation parties. just so many fuctions. No day was free day they are on a large scale all the colleges of mandi district participated on zonal level.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees was feasable not much expensive. We had to pay in instalments. At that time fees per semester was rs.10000. That means total fees was rs.60000.

Campus Life :

Campus life is full of enthusiasm and enjoyable along with that we have to make our career during college life. The personality we develoo at that stage is what goes with us all our life. We need to be good at academics but we should also gather knowledge about the current affairs and the socity. It is the world we are stepping in after college the real bad world.

Exam Structure :

There were exams at end of each semester each lecture was fourty five minutes long. Classes were hectic. We were taught management infirmation system. So we had to go to lab for half an hour.

Faculty :

Faculty of our college were very good. Mr.Manoj Sharma our dean was very disciplined. He was a good professor.along side there was chandel sir, and many other professors who all are very well trained and experienced. The students respect them a lot they are very helpful.

Placement Experience:

In the final year, students become eligible for the placement, however they are encouraged to apply for internships throughout the program years. Not sure about the exact metrics of the offers made but various companies visit each year, some of the big companies like KPMG also visit. Highest package for BBA is 10 lakhs while for MBA it is 18 lakhs. A very few students from the university get placed, most of them get the rejection due to poor academic performance and interview. I plan to pursue MBA abroad and then PhD. I don't plan to take any support from the university in this regard.

IT sector companies, food companies, and many more companies are visited in the university. 5 to 6 lacs per annum average package as per company and profiles are offered. 60 to 70 percent of students getting placements.
