Good ROI and vibrant B-School of Bangalore

Remarks :

The Admission process was simpler and went smooth. College accepts MAT/CAT/XAT scores. The cut-off was 60% during my admission. The application form will be available on the college website. Application fees are 8.40 Lakhs for two years. The application goes till May.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum has been articulated and revised frequently to meet the industry needs. I chose this course as the PGDM program will be more practical than a regular university MBA program. Highly experienced faculty with industry-based experience. The teaching method is more practical and intended to make socially responsible managers.

Internships Opportunities :

Placement cell also provides assistance for internship opportunities. Some of the top internship recruiters are Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Equinix, etc. A research-based internship or on-the-job internship has to be done during the two months summer internship program.

Placement Experience :

Placement cell facilitates a good amount of companies for recruitment. Students become eligible for placements from the end of the 4th semester.95% of the students got placed last year. This year (2022 batch), the highest package offered is 21.6 LPA. The average salary is 6.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, TCS, Kaseya, Merkle Sokrati etc.Top roles offered were consultants, presales manager, account manager, Business analyst etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is very nominal compared to other B-Schools and the college provides scholarship opportunities for merit and financially weaker students. Fees are paid to give a good return on investment. Financial assistance is given through a reduction in fees for economically weaker students.

Campus Life :

The vibrant college experience is assured on the campus. Every week will be packed with some events. To name a few, Pinnacle, intra-collegiate management fest, and one inter-collegiate fest called Verve will amaze you with a vibrant learning experience. The library is very much student-friendly and assistance is provided for the extension of new books. Well-equipped classrooms, a sports league called JPL (Joseph's Premier League), and a lot of co-curricular clubs will add to that energetic campus life experience.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good for both boys and girls. Mainly it is affordable to get stayed in Bangalore. Food is good with a good variety of menu. Geysers, study tables, cupboards are some of the amenities provided at the hostel.

Interview Experience :

After the application process, shortlisted candidates will be called for a written assessment followed by a personal interview. There is no group discussion. For the personal interview, questions will be asked from the undergraduate course or from the work experience if you had so.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
