Remarks :

Admission to Delhi Technological University is done through the rank of JEE Mains. Cutoff for Delhi students (students who did 12th from Delhi) is lower than that for outside Delhi students because there is an 80% reservation for Delhi students. There is a reservation for sc, st, obc and gen-ews categories also.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronics and Communication Engineering has topics from both computer and electrical engineering. The faculty in this department is known to be a bit stricter than other departments, but there is not a big difference. Exams can be passed easily by studying a few days before them. Self-study is important for scoring high grades.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come for on-campus internship opportunities. Some even pay a stipend of more than 100000 per month. If the company likes your performance, you can be offered a PPO (pre-placement offer) before entering the 4th year.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are top-notch for tech branches (including ECE). The average package for ECE is above 12 LPA. Most companies allow ECE students to sit for placements. The highest paying jobs are for software roles. On-campus internship opportunities are also available, which can lead to pre-placement offers even before the 4th year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee is around 200000 Rupees per annum for 2021-22. Some scholarships like e-district scholarships are provided by the government and the university for students having a low family income. You can also get an educational loan from a bank. Top scorers of the college also get some scholarships after 1st year.

Campus Life :

The campus life of DTU is great. The fests like Engifest are of a big level. Classrooms have decent infrastructure. Not too great. The sports complex has all kinds of sports, both outdoor and indoor. There are a lot of societies for any activity you are interested in.

IIT DELHI INSIDE STORY

Placement Experience:

All the big Mncs and heavily paying firms come to our college . Most of then are open for every students. But some only open for top branches. Placement are best in iits but some students go for UPSC and other for MBA or higher studies , so the percentage drops.

My aunt was the teacher in this college and my jee rank was good so in my jee rank i got the best college and its fees is less so there was no prblm. And there is strictness for studies. The students should have 75%attendence.

Placement of this college is too good as avg is 11 lakh per annum so the college as the mass recruiters like infosis and amazon and flipkart and byjus come in our college to give job to our honourable students the avg income of mechanical student from mait is 20 lakh per annum
