If they have tried some more then more student will be with happy face and good job while leaving the institute.

Entrance Preview :

I have scored 6000 rank in west Bengal joint entrance and opt for the college because it is nearest to my home but fact is that that i didn't know what is electrical engineering at that time, just go with my father decision.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basic electrical, basic electronics machine designfurior transform mechanical science fluid mechanicsecology digital electronics analog electronicsengineering graphics, physics, mathematics circuit theory material science c language, html, vb and many more. interesting lovable subjects.

Internships Opportunities :

Not done internship but performed 15 days training at durgapur steel plant to experience first time the meaning of industry in my life. Live life king size with large transformers, pulverizes, substation, steel melting plant, boiler, loco rakes, safety warnings helmet and last but very important with friend.

Placement Experience :

That year which was 2006 only 88 of 300 student of our batch palced in wel reputed companies. But with our strong technical base now every student of our stream is in well stable companies like wipro, tcs, wbpdcl, wbsedcl, wbsetcl, thermax, l&t, fox control.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

30,000/ year others are caution money and registration costas of private college the fee structure is good. But many more subsidy will give more scope to the person who dream for it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Study loan and scholarship is available not availed many needy student facilitate with it also brilliant student also get the option for scholarship too.

Campus Life :

Indulge in each and every activity you love. like you can play with c programming also you can make a digital circuit for the first time in your life. Feel yourself like a scientist not an engineer whatever you want suddenly lost in books for 4th year as you in the 1st year. Total gaming, sports, leadership activity non verbal communication and the verbal one with your best friend cum lover is on the air note sharing and class bunking sometime brings back the real person inside me.

Hostel Facilities :

I was a day scholar but hostel facility is good as known to me. very nearest to the college on the bank of a rivergood food and lodging arrangement.

Alumni/Alumna :

As a localities every student of our batch knew me very well including the seniors especially for indoor and out door gaming activities and fun loving nature of mine.

Exam Structure :

Good and help full rigorous internal tests make well prepared for external semester also siting arrangement to prevent answer leaking also good to resist the bad habbit.

Faculty :

They are always opt to deliver what they have in them to facilitate each and every student. Punctuality and responsibility was on the go though some type of questionnaire torture they deliver what they come for they are always hand to hand with me not only in education but also building a perfect person for future.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
