Remarks :

The main factor while choosing this college was it's placement and faculties which are totally awesome. Yaa the infrastructure was not up to the mark but that's not a big deal for me. This college has best placement in its university and i preferred this over others. I used Collegedunia and shiksha.com as per the reference for the selection of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good but it's not superb as compared to engineering curriculum because i think engineering curriculum should include more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Ignoring this all other subjects were fine. The faculty to students ratio varies but overall it is 1:45. The faculty are very knowledgeable and know the aspects about the subjects. The teaching method was fine. I didn't face any difficulty in that. The term exams is like 2 internal exams and one semester exams. It was pretty hard but if you study you can pass the exam easily.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 405000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like virtusa, throughtworks,ZS associates, Capgemini,amazon, adobe like many more companies visit our college with highest salary of around 19 lakhs and lowest of 4 lakhs. The percentage is very good in my course i.e. CSE with 80% students getting placed. My plans is to pursue higher studies after my b.tech.

College Events :

The social life at campus is very good which i heard from the seniors. There is one annual fest called the tech fest which is organised every year but our batch was not able to experience it in the first year during the pandemic. But as heard from the seniors the tech fest is really a awesome event organised by the seniors. Yaa in that fest only all extra curricular activities like sports(every sports), dancing, bgm, music are there.

Campus Life :

As i told earlier the campus infrastructure is not up to the mark but the facilities are totally good. The campus has basketball, football,cricket and badminton ground and has all the facilities for their students. The campus is wifi enabled but not for the 1st year students. The library has all the books ranging from subjective to competitive. The lab equipment were also very good with little or no flaws.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure is good. I didn't face any difficulty while living in the hostel. Yaa the food was not up to the mark but this story is of every hostel in india. Otherwise the facilities were good like we were given wifi(not works everytime),geysers were there,bed and wardrobe was provided. Registration is easy for the hostel till the Hostel is not full. But after registration you cannot leave the hostel before 1 year.

Hostel Fee : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience:

Many more placements are available after completion of the 8th semester. Many reputable companies are taken interviews for final year students like - CIPLA, Mefopharm, Macleods, Pfizer, Alkem for production, QA, QC department. Nestle, Tablet India are taken interviews for medical representatives. Wipro, Cognizant is taken an interview for the pharmacovigilance department.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

ItÕs one of the oldest Bschools in Kolkata. I love the infrastructure of the college. ItÕs known for its faculties and placement. IÕve known a lot of students from this college. I visited the college and the people were really professional and helpful.

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
