Remarks :

To apply for this college, there is no limit of age but the applicant must have passed in matriculation and must have the Local Resident certificate of Jharkhand. The application can be filled out at the JCECEB website during the months of February and March.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course of Metallurgical Engineering because of the highest placement opportunities that are provided by GPA. There are many teaching faculties though part time rather than permanent. The faculties are at least graduated from B.Tech.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 2605 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement of GPA is excellent with an average of 80% to 85% of students placed in MNCs every year. Some of the companies are L&T, TATA Power, Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel and JSPL. The highest package offered is 5 Lakh per annum and the average is about 2.6 to 2.8 Lakh per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college charges the minimal fee as all the other government colleges. The fee structure is as follows: First year= 1805 Second year=2605 Third year=2605 The students of BC-I, BC-II, ST and SC categories can avail the government scholarship program called "Ekalyan"

Campus Life :

We have the annual events of the Freshers for the first year students and the Farewell for the final year students. As the CRPF camp is located inside the college campus, the national festivals are celebrated cheerfully.

My college review by ex student.

Placement Experience:

5th semester to 6th-semester students was eligible for campus selection. The highest average package was 150000 per annum at that time. Like Yamaha auto profile etc. were coming for giving placement approx 60-70 placement were made yearly. Student above 75% can get a placement if they pass the interview. I was always keen forward towards automobile field and technical works.

Government polytechnic adityapur review

Placement Experience:

After the 5th sem, you'll be eligible for the placement. Many core companies visit our campus like TATA POWER, TATA STEEL, JINDAL STEEL, ADITYA MITTAL NIPPON STEEL, CEAT, L&T. Average package is around 3 LPA. In Electrical almost more than 50% of the batch gets placed every year. This time in my junior batch 18 of them was placed in TATA power out of a batch of 50.

Something sweet and some bitter

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for placement after the 5th semester. Companies like L&T, JINDAL STEEL, POWER LTD, and HCL come to college for placements. The average package offered by the companies would be 12000 rupees and the maximum I have heard is 22000. It is not fixed but almost 60% of students get placed. My plan is to get hired by some company and work for a while and then we will decide after that.

Amazing

Placement Experience:

Placement in our college is so good. There is lotta of company come across the country. From Fifth semester students are eligible for campus placements. There is lots of company came for placement through all over India such as 1 - Tata Power 2 - Tata Motor 3 - L&T 4 - Vikash Group 5 - Yokohama Tyre Company 6 - Zindal Hisaar etc The highest package for students that company give 2.2 lakh and the average package is 1.5 lakh. They're about 80% of students are selected for placement. My plan for completing my degree is I will go for higher studies.

Postive points of the college are its infrastructure, Labs , Proper drinking water etc. There are 2 canteens where we can get food , drinks, and basic needs. Quality of food in these canteeens are also good. There is less negative points which could be neglected.
