Remarks :

Firstly we have had to apply for DU ug courses which come in April- May in which one has to apply for Ug courses giving preference for a list of colleges and courses, after that almost three counsellings happen to enable students to take admission in allotted colleges. When I was a part of the college, the labs were updated and all the equipment of the labs were working alright. There’s no complaint about the facilities at BCAS but quite strict attendance and then sitting in the class idle as every now and then there would be a top-level meeting and the faculty had to skip the lecture and be a part of that meeting. Irrespective of whether they come or not, we can’t leave the class, and doing nothing in the class was the best thing that we did often.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had to pursue engineering in mechanical but couldn't because I come from a very basic family and couldn't afford private universities. In the meantime I didn't qualify for IIT that year, so did a compromise and got into BCAS. The faculty here is outstanding and clear in their knowledge. They teach to their best too.

Internships Opportunities :

We were offered to work at Toyota manufacturing plant in Haryana for a couple of months (only learning) and we also have had opportunities for a couple more organizations but I personally didn't go for them as I had to prepare for CAT in the following year.

Placement Experience :

You can get paid internship from the 2nd year only, but a full-fledged job is very difficult to acquire even in the last semester. Only BPOs and KPOs come and enroll 75% of the students. None of us got a 10 lac+ package in our session.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is not much to talk about fees as it was very nominal at our time. But it got a rise recently and is now almost double to what we have paid during our session. But still, it is not much and totally worth it. No scholarship was acquired.

Campus Life :

Tech fest inside the campus almost never happens. Since it is a Delhi University, the annual fest and other bogus fests happen to take place every year. No sports, but societies like dance, dramas, etc eee there.

Other Applied Colleges

Hansraj College, Motilal Nehru college | B.Sc.

Because I didn't get in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my opinion my course syllabus is good and better then some of the other courses. This course helps and prepares students for the real world application as it is a practical course and have all the industrial related topics in it. In my opinion the college should offer more industrial vists for the students. The difficulty level of exams is Average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
