Remarks :
The admission process was a gamified process that included a combination of form filling, academic and work-ex background, my extracurricular activities and then finally a Personal Interview with 3-panel members consisting of college alumni, college professors and industry Stewarts. The application form can be found on the website of college and is generally released 2 weeks after the CAT results are out.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers here are highly qualified and provide each student with a well-rounded education. They use readily available materials to provide immediate answers to students' questions. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:10. Semester exams are also manageable; all you have to do is study because lecturers go out of their way to make the tests as simple as possible.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships take place in the second semester of the first year. The time frame is two months. Everyone in the class is able to secure an excellent internship, and the majority of these internships lead to full-time employment. SJMSoM had a very good summer placements season in 2020-2021. The entire placements procedure was conducted entirely online because to the Coronavirus pandemic's constraints. Internships in the Consumer Goods/Durables sector were the most popular among the MBA class of 2022 at SJMSoM, with almost 40% of the class opting for this field.
Placement Experience :
The college's placement cell works exceedingly hard and establishes new milestones for campus placements with each passing year. In 2021, 108 students were placed in various firms, with the highest CTC being 32.80 lacs. There are 100% placements, and they are competitive with those offered by India's leading business schools. Following graduation, I intend to work in an SCM role for an FMCG company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In comparison to other MBA schools, the tuition is relatively low. Scholarships are available for students who excel academically. With large MNCs coming to campus for recruitment, jobs and internships are plentiful.
Campus Life :
The natural beauty of the land, among other things, contributes to the college's attractiveness. Despite the fact that items have been online owing to Covid, Every month, events are held here to help students improve their knowledge and to allow them to have in-depth discussions. Many groups and committees devoted to finance, marketing, culture, and consultancy benefit students greatly.
