Remarks :
IIT Indore was a fulfilling experience. I am glad I took my master's degree from here. It has been a pleasure indeed. I took an entrance exam called IIT JAM (held every year in February), and after being selected in this exam, I had the option of filling out a form to apply to IITs based on my rank. After a few days, one of the IITs in my preferred preference order was filled. As a result, I was given the opportunity to pursue a master's degree in physics at IIT Indore.
Course Curriculum Overview :
When it comes to courses, the M.Sc. programme has four semesters. For the first two semesters, I was indulged in course work. For the last two, project work occupied me. Exams are also divided into two parts: 'Mid-sem' and 'End-sem,' which are held every semester and receive CPI (Cumulative Performance Index). The faculty at IIT Indore is very nice. The teachers are humble and very helpful. Moreover, their teaching patters are very practical and easy to understand. They focus on conceptual clarity.
Placement Experience :
Every year, companies come to this college for placement, where usually B.Tech and M.Tech students are put. Other companies come here for M.Sc. students, but it is entirely up to the student whether or not he wants to go. Although this college offers internships, no remuneration is provided.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for M.Sc. at the moment is 52,300 for the first year. However, it was lower when I joined the college. It is very affordable for M.Sc. students at IIT Indore. As a result, colleges grant educational loans to students. The Canara Bank, which is located on campus, may be able to help. Aside from that, I've noticed PNB bank boards that advertise school loans.
Campus Life :
There are many clubs you can join like music, dance, literary if you are interested to get involved in them. Instead of this, there are many sports like football, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton etc. There is also a gym inside the campus.
