Remarks :

As the college is in my home town and provides good facilities for education i chose this college. Better faculty members and study environment. The admission process was not tiresome and got completed in few steps. Website was given where we could fill the admission form which gave plenty of time limit to submit it. The only bad aspect of college is less clinical exposure as the college resides in the islands less population which turns out only limited amount of cases we get exposed to. However the faculty members tries their best to overcome this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I always wanted to become a doctor. I started studying for it's entrance exam from +1 onwards. The student ratio is less and the faculties are quite qualified all of them with postgraduate degree Or masters degree. The teachers are quite excellent and knowledgeable as the are themselves doctors . The exams are conducted quite frequently and exams are somehow difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Not yet

Placement Experience :

Almost all the students get placement in the islands as it is mandatory to serve the islands for around 1 year after the completion of the course. Even the internship is well paid. No such companies visits the college but almost all the students get job as physician. Although many students opt for doing their post graduation and prepare for its entrance exam

College Events :

Infrastructure is average as the college is newly opened so the campus is under-construction. The library is greatly equipped with all the books and journal which we can get acess to. Although I don't get that much exposure to college activities because of being a day scholar

Campus Life :

All the equipments are provided in labs along with specimens required to study anatomy. Wifi is available for hostel. Library is well equipped with all the books needed . Infrastructure is not that good but still the hostel is provided with tennis court, basket ball court and many other things.

Admission :

There are many group discussion held in college along with demonstration done by the students. Many new concepts of teaching introduced such as competency. Written test are held along with OSPE exams

Reality hits different

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty well although the avg package of biotech btech is 5 lakh if I will not be able to get a job then I will definitely dive into upsc or do my own because I don't want my self to stay stuck somewhere where I don't belong from

Great learning

Placement Experience:

1) the student is eligible for campus placement only when he or she is in the last semester of completion of his course. 2) the average package of every company offered for a student is 2 lakh 2 3.5 lakh per annum according to the company and also for the student interview. 3) the percentage of the student for getting placement is at least he has first class or more than and also his interview. 4) after the degree my plans are for higher studies.

Life at JNRM

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's easy to pass. There is no freshers party and no functions. Every subject has 2-3 faculty members. I chose this course as just a drop-year student. Some teachers are good but the new faculty is horrible. They don't even know how to pronounce words or form proper sentences.

From the 6th semester, students can attend the campus selections and also get campus placements. The companies that are collaborating with this college are Flipkart, TCS, Amazon, Tata, etc. The percentage of getting placements is 85 to 90. I wanted to study higher studies.

My college life struggle

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is the course that I tried and got admitted to before any other so decided to study. 6:21 is a faculty-student ratio. All have cleared their masters among which one sir and the Hod of the department have done Ph.D. in the field of physics. After every 6 months it was not fixed the dates kept changing it was not that tough to pass if you were prepared.

My Review of TGCE, Port Blair

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the college is affiliated with Pondicherry University, the course curriculum is decided & is according to the University. I chose B.Sc. Computer Science with Integrated B.Ed., as I was deeply interested in Computers & Tech also loved teaching people about it. Few Faculties are Very Good, Some just Alright, rest don't deserve to be teaching at a college. Qualifications are not a measurement of Quality 8-semester exams - with no marking based on the answer - it's based on pure luck & handwriting

A dream come true

Admission:

The zeal to become a doctor led me to Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, Port Blair where I decided to pursue MBBS and after completing all the requirements I got selected and it literally has the easiest admission procedure.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are undoubtedly great at this university and besides being offered a job at a big institution, they are also given ample opportunities to do internships and learn while studying which is of paramount significance in this course.
