Remarks :

This gives you all prospects of learning with affordable fees. The quality of study is very good. Though the infrastructure is not that good faculty are awesome. I choose this college because of teaching at this college and it follows ROI for that placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is designed according to the latest curriculum. The faculties are well qualified and most students have no complaints about their teaching way with most of the subjects. There are extra curriculum activities for personality build-up.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, I have opted for an internship before the starting of my 3rd semester. We have to go for an internship in our chosen specialized field. The SIP viva is held every year so students have to show their internship experience at that time so it's mandatory.

Placement Experience :

As per the placement record of previous years, the placement at DBS is better than most management colleges in Uttarakhand. There are sessions for career counseling and tips to excel at placement period. Big companies like Amazon, reliance, TCS visits for placement round here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In our college, scholarships are provided to those students only who are financially unable to pay tuition fees. Though the college fees are very less as that is a government college. There is a management loan also provided by a different bank.

Campus Life :

There are all the necessary facilities available at Doon university. Like auditorium, sports complex, hostels, labs, library, cafeteria medical facilities. The infrastructure is average. The library has a good collection of books and students visit it regularly for various newsletters available at the library.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good at Doon business school. the hostel fees are quite high but the facilities are very good. Most of the students prefer PG accommodation because of the hostel fees. There are various hostel buildings are available at DBS but their prices fluctuate. The mess food is not that good according to some students.

Hostel Fee : INR 81750 per year

Admission :

Yes, there is a Group discussion and interview session after the qualifying entrance exam. The questions are usually asked about your previous course and current affairs. You have to be in formal attire and behave in discipline as it is very important.

Good to go

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year that is 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and interships. The companies who visited our campus is Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, TCS, Mahindra etc. Highest package offered currently in 2023 is 32 Lpa and 22 Lpa and average is between 5-6 Lpa.80% of the total students appeared in the placement. My plans is to pursue mtech after this.

Quantum University at a Glance

Placement Experience:

6th sem onwards placement drives are carried out in this university. All the students in that particular semester may be eligible for the placements. No I said eligible as because the attendance as well as the backlogs are checked. As the college is very strict about attendance and backlogs. If either of the two doesn't reaches rhe minimum criteria then the students are debared for the session or from the placements drive. Ok so 192 companies visit the campus every year where the hight package reached was of INR 33.50 LPA. The average package ranges from INR 7LPA - INR 8.5LPA. Placement percentage is almost around 91% as of the current year. My plans after getting the degree is to like opt for higher studies and get placed either abroad or into the biggest MNC in India.

BAD FACILITIES IN THIS COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is like that they provide 5-6 classes in a day. They provide couses subjects like software engineering , computer applications, gate classes, mathematics ,they also should have provide physics lectures but due to regular changer in thier curriculum and erp they could not maintain any pace . Placement Experience:

As I'm in 2nd ye I don't know much about the placement cell but I heard from the seniors that the placement ratio is good but only for those who devoted themselves to studies. The highest placement ever was like 1.1 CR and avg is 6L. The percentage of students getting placement is like 40%.My plans are giving CDS or GATE exam for higher studies.

Insights of the college

Placement Experience:

In law, it's the last semester of their law course when campus placements become eligible. Any companies like -luthra and luthra, dhir and dhir associates, Amarchand mangaldas, famous NGOs, etc. The highest package is 7-8 lacks whereas the lowest is 2-3 lakhs per annum. Many students get placed over here. I will opt for post-graduation after graduation.

It's a government college. Campus is vast and near my home town.its near tehri dam. Mechanical is Better branch for placement and I have interest in this branch. There are more placement in private sector for mechanical engineer

Companies come frequently in the college for placement. But bigger company not gives more offers as it's a rural area. 10 lakh package is given by most of the companies.college it self takes account of placements. Shubam nautiyal gets a placement of 8 lakh recently.
