Remarks :

Course, quality education and the motivation and support provided by the management and department faculties are excellent. Also the ambience of college and facilities like library, research lab, etc. are very good. Events conducted in college helped us to develop our leadership skills and encouraged us in different areas. Admission is purely based on merit and entrance. Some management seats are there and admission to that seat is also purely based on merits. Management seat admission will start by Jan-March and regular seat admission will start based on KEAM and Kerala government regulations.Accessibility to college is quite difficult if you choose public transport. College is located around 6km away from the city. Public vehicle availability is less but college provide bus facilities for us to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was good. In our department, during my course time, there were 9 faculties other than HoD and 3 lab assistants and 1 project assistant. Some of the faculties have PhD qualification and the minimum qualification is M.Tech in respective field. Our faculties teaching style was different. They are friendly and other that course curriculum, they taught us the applications and encouraged us to do more research on our interested areas. All term exams are strictly adhere to university curriculum and it will be purely based on the courses and its application.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I did internship at Biogenix Research Center, Trivandrum. One week training and we got hands-on training to different advanced technologies in molecular biology area. Its a paid internship. The main aim of that internship was to get hands-on training different molecular biology techniques and different equipments.

Placement Experience :

From first year itself, college is providing placement training. They add training as a part of curriculum and by the end of 3rd year, we were eligible for attending placement drives. Placement cell in the campus is very good and they continuously try to call core companies for students. Also college motivate as to do internships in core company and they help us to arrange internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

College is providing scholarship for students who are from low financial background. Also central government and state government scholarship we can apply. Placement cell is very good and they help us to find jobs in our respective field with good packages.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus was very good and that are most memorable days. Other than academics lot of extracurricular activities are there. Annual tech fest, departmental fest, cultural programs, sports, etc. are very special in SBCE.

Admission :

For KEAM students, no interview, GD or test. During admission time, they will give an orientation class and explain the different field and application of our course and its future aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

A better place for a better carrier

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
