Remarks :

My family was financially weak but my passion for doing MBA drive me to do it at a low cost from J. S. University. Besides the benefit of living in the same hometown cuts many external charges. I filled the application form and gave their entrance exam before selection. The university is accredited by UGC. You can fill the application form both offline and online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

J. S. University grants various courses in Humanities, Engineering, Management, Science, Commerce etc. The 2 year MBA program have only core subjects during the first year while you can choose your Major/Minor during the second semester. The professors are mostly PhD holders and they are very interactive. Timely seminars, webinars, business discussions are organized. Exams are taken on the scheduled date and the questions asked are moderate.

Internships Opportunities :

In the MBA program we need to do a summer internship program. It generally starts after the first semester and lasts for 8 weeks on an average. Companies like TATA, Capgemini, Axis bank come for internships. You can get paid and non paid internship. The paid internships generally give around 5000 rupees as stipend. If you are capable enough you can get PPOs from the internship.

Placement Experience :

The second year students of MBA program sit for placements. We have a placement percentage of 70 which is good as it is relatively new. The placement cell conducts special grooming sessions. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, Flipkart, ICICI Bank, come for placements. The highest package last year was 7 LPA while the average was 3 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When it comes to the fees the university is very affordable. The two year MBA program costs approximately 94000 rupees which means 47000 rupees annually. The university gives scholarship to the meritorious students. The financially weak candidate can avail the EWS quota.

Campus Life :

The university is very new so you will experience modern innovations in classrooms and library. The campus is good and would help you in holistic learning. Various cultural and sport events are organized throughout the year. We celebrate many traditional festivals like Holi, Diwali within the campus. The campus is lively and you would spend some of your best days here.

Hostel Facilities :

I am a local resident so I didn?Ûªt avail the hostel facility. But what I have learnt from my classmates is the hostels are satisfactory. The hostels are very new and have good infrastructure. There is common room for the hostellers. The mess food is good but improvements can be made.

Admission :

The admission takes place solely on the basis of the score in the entrance exam. A merit list is published and according to your score you can take admission. You are required to come to the University for Document Verification. There is no GD and PI round.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester of the course, students become eligible for final placements. ISAB is maintaining 100% final and summer internship placements since its inception and we are looking forward to maintaining the record. The placement cell is very active and supports students in their campus placement ventures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course of agribusiness because like after BSc in agriculture you can go for MSc in agriculture or MBA in agribusiness. I don't want to prepare for Ph.D. in the government sector so there is a better scope of an MBA in the private sector rather than an MSc in agriculture. Another reason for doing MBA is placement. The placement ratio of MBA students is better than m.sc students and salaries are also good. Another reason is in the private sector and MBA degree holders will get better promotions than average MSc degree holders. On my campus, there are 46 students in MBA agribusiness and 7 to 80% of them will surely get a minimum package of 350000 and a maximum package of 8 lacs. The guest faculty of MBA agribusiness is quite good. There are some teachers who are not as good as others but there is a 100% guarantee of course completion. Semester exams are not quite easy or too difficult if you will focus a little bit on your studies you will easily get pass. Semester exams are delayed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The trimester exam was there and it is pretty difficult to pass and have very good projects to work on plus the faculty is very good for finance. I am fortunate to be here. All the faculty is doctorate who are teaching plus have a very wide range of practical experience and links at big companies. The faculty is approachable. The college is very regular in respect of course and exam schedule. The course provides in-depth knowledge and exposure to students to real-life problems.

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.
