Remarks

The admission is through applying APRDC. The eligibility of the course is the 12th pass. Application form, fees and dates can be seen on the website of APRDC. There are reservations for each caste, the advantage of the college is, it provides the best education through the best faculty to the poor ones who come to build up their dreams. The college circumstances build up the student in each sector which are needed to present society.

I choose the science stream because of my interest in nature and the environment. the students are 20 in each class, the faculty is there at least 3 for a department the advantage of fewer students is the faculty is able to concentrate every student and help them to improve where they lag. The faculty are doctorate holders who are completed the MSc, PhD. The exams are of two types theory and objective type which helps the students to improve in both the type of examinations.

The students of the 5th semester are eligible for the campus placements. So many companies come to offer the merits companies like Infosys, apollo, Wipro, etc, participate in it. My plan after degree is to do MSc in microbiology.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for maths and science streams is 10286 rupees, and the fee for arts and computers is 6286. The students are eligible for every scholarship like JVD, NSP. There are campus selections conducted every year where the students participate eagerly.

Campus Life

There is a large library which contains lots of books not only related to the subject there are the books which improve the social knowledge and also reasoning and many more. There is every sport for every girl and boy like kho kho, kabaddi, volleyball, sapak takra, handball etc and there is NCC which makes me and women stronger.

Hostel Facilities

the hostel is in a large area each room consists of up to 20 members each member is given an iron cart, and two iron racks are provided in the rooms to keep the books. The meal quality is not soo bad but ok to acquire energy.

Placement Experience:

There are placement opportunities offered in the University but it is pretty low compared to private Universities. Companies like TCS, jio mart, Ramoji Film City often visit here for placements. As far as I heard the highest placement offered was 6LPA to an economics student. I plan to do MBA after my Retail management course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is Good the college is supervised by Krishna University from guntur and provides us the best syllabus for our course related topics We prepared for Analytica techniques in our 1st Semester and in 2nd Smemster we learned how to culture different bacteria and 3rd we learned some Basics of Genetic engineering and in present semester we are preparing on medical biotechnology and bioinformatics and when it comes to chemistry we learned basics of chemistry like salt identification in 2nd Semester and focused on Organic Salts on 3rd Sem and present we are learning to analitically calculate Ph or composition of a component in a solution.The Faculty wont rush but explains every single topic slowly,after this sem we will have a short term internship upto 3 Months as CSP and in 6th sem we will have long term internship of 6 months The Exams are moderate and a student can score grace marks if he prepared from the beginning but the challenging thing is the TIME .In our college the majority of the semester score is depended on the MID exams but the challenging point is the exams are conducted for 5 days and 2 subjects are conducted per day,I dont know what about the other colleges but this short amount of time for every mid exam preparation makes it difficult and we attempt 100 marks paper within 2 hrs the paper contains 2 ,the 1st section contains short questions and total scores upto 40 marks and second section is 60 marks

The pros and cons of joining the SKSD college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Sc in computer science. The main moto for me to select this group is to be placed in MNC. Firstly I thought of taking BCA but in tanuku there is no college with BCA, so I choose B.Sc computer's. And coming to the Faculty some of the Faculty is good with huge knowledge. And some members are freshers in teaching field with basic knowledge, after completing the masters or PhD means they will give the job to the lecturers. And they won't test the lecturers deeply in the subject so that the freshers in teaching field don't teacher properly. Coming to examinations they conduct exams very strictly and it's autonomous college so no need to go to other colleges for writing the exam. And the invigilation is very strict and the college has a separate exam cell where they hide the papers strictly and they won't allow students to enter the examination cell.

For getting admission into this silver jubilee govt college we have to apply for SILVER CET, which is silver jubilee govt college common entrance test. All students who have passed their intermediate or +2 can apply for this and after getting results, first 50 students will be called for physical verification of documents and this list is prepared by keeping all reservation guidelines in applicable only. After that they need to pay fees and they can join the college and hostel on the intimated day which will be 10 days later to verification date.
