Remarks :
Overall i had an average experience throughout my 7 semesters but after 2016 as it is a Deemed university things have changed a lot new clubs are formed students are given freedom to explore things overall a decent college for any student not much of research oriented rather very straight forward with its policies. please also note that it is around 16 kms from city on the outskirts of Rau which is a real pain to go though multiple service are available to reach there.

Course Curriculum Overview :
As the Institute is affiliated from State University of Madhya Pradesh(Known as RGPV) the course curriculum is not much of a discussion. things are pretty simple we have a total of Five subjects each semester except last one with not much of an open choice for the students as the electives are decided solely by the departments and our course was last updated in 2010 so yes here we are really behind the existing technologies, But here is the good news from 2016 our College has been conferred as Deemed University maybe now things will be a bit open for the students regarding the curriculum and electives as of now cant say much about it.
Internships Opportunities :
No we do not have such stipend based internships however we are required to undergo a Industrial Training for a duration of 15 to 30 days which is mostly not stipend based and is concerned with the Discipline of your undergrad. or Post Grad. Degree.
Placement Experience :
Placements Opportunities are excellent here but they package range is between 3-5 lpa except some big recruiters. The Recruiters visiting campus are majority for CS & IT branches having an overall strength of around 1100 eligible for placements we have around 80% of the students placed in different sectors though mostly IT Services. Our Major Recruters are TCS,Amdocs,CSC,Eicher etc
College Events :
We have our annual College fest Moonstone - A Techno Cultural Management & Sports Festival of Medicaps College.It is an extravaganza with 50 events spread over 16 categories This is the place where you will get the chance to meet friends, have loads of fun and challenge the best budding brains the fest is witnessed by thousands of students across M.P and we have great Celebrity nights and D.J nights. Apart from that we have Dandiya-Night which is exclusively for our college students and a really fun this a student never misses out. In addition to this we have on going club events which are mostly celebrated within the club members.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The yearly fees is about 80,000 INR excluding Bus service (Additional 16,000 for that yearly) which is quite feasible but if you are in hostel an additional of 60,000 per year is to be paid (including mess). Comparing to other institutes like the government ones it is really expensive but taking account of all private institutes across state and the service they provide this becomes feasible and as mentioned earlier we have best campus facilities you can witness across state.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We do not have any special scholarship programs in the institute except the ones given by the State university such as for SC/ST/OBC Students and Vice-chancellor Scholarship for students with great academic performance. Though there were instances when our college helped students who had a bad financial condition by paying there fees. Not really sure about the Loan procedures or student who have taken it.
Campus Life :
We do not have much of a campus life as we are not allowed to roam around the campus except breaks but that much time is sufficient and given the campus we have make up for it we have good Canteen and CKD(Chachi ki Dukan) which is a usual hangout for most of the students and yes the Library the most beautiful element across our campus though we do not spend much time there but still a peace to walk in there. We do not have much open events across the academic calendar except during college fest. The gender ratio fluctuates from branch to branch with highest in Mechanical to Lowest in Computer Science.
Hostel Facilities :
Though not a hostel students but had interaction with my friends who stayed there and myself spend some time during breaks the hostel rooms are quite good now they are expanding their hostel are also but the mess is really a mess had food about 2-3 times there was really disappointed as the quality was not maintained ad things were usually repeated on regular basis plus we don't have any student committee to look around these things so this is really a thing which needs to be improved
Alumni/Alumna :
We do not have interaction with our alumni though there is an alumni association but not much of existence except their gatherings and reunions the interaction with alumni through college is zero however we have a pretty good relations with our seniors but for the ones who are really inactive they have no clue about importance of these things.
Exam Structure :
Exam Structure is Pretty Simple, We have 5 subjects each semester consisting of 5 units in each one of them with an equal weight age to every unit in the exam that is 14 marks which our total theory marks of 14x5=70 marks and the rest are lab and Assignments which are calculated separately as these keeps on varying no specific structure is available.
Faculty :
Majority of faculties here are Assistant Professors with an average experience of 3-5 years all of them have M.Tech qualifications. The subjects are reshuffled across the semesters so as the faculty is through with almost every subject which is being taught and of course they all have their major subjects they love to teach. Overall the teaching department is unbiased when comes to allocation of internal marks or reviewing a students performance which is a really good sign.
