My college is Heaven for Nature Lovers

Ps

Remarks :

Application forms and Details regarding addmission for College of Horticulture and Forestry are available on the official site of the college and also one can directly contact to the college. I didn't see any reservation benefits in my college. For paid seats the college fees is 53000 per semester but for ICAR candidates and state entrance exams cleared candidates the semester fees is just 4280 per semester excluding hostel fees. College of Horticulture and Forestry Pashighat is the best college under Central Agriculture University Imphal and I didn't see any need of improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a Horticulture student and I choose this course because i love to study about plants. Faculty members are too nice and humble , always ready to help the students at any time. All faculty members are well qualified and gold medalists at there PhD levels. There teaching mehtod is great they explain everything in a polite way. Term exams are mostly happen in 2 terms Mid terms and End terms in the duration of 6months.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies like food processing industries and cosmetic industries pharmaceuticals which offer the jobs at a grand level and also there is a great opportunity in private banks to get the job of fields officers bank manager etc.

Placement Experience :

Students from the 6th semester onwards becomes eligible for placement jobs after the 6th semester there are some placement trips that are offered to the students like village placement trips and industrial placement trips in which they get the opportunity to get the job of around 480000 to 1200000 salary packages.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per year fees for paid seat students is around 154000.But there are many scholarship opportunities like ICAR exams. A student who got seats from ICAR has to pay only around 13000 per year and got a scholarship of 36000 per year. NTA scholarships are also fhere in which students get scholarship of around 38000 per year.

Campus Life :

The mainly annual fest is done in the month of August to welcome the newcomers i.e. College Freshers Week. The library of our college is also good one can find any type of book is needed and also a great facility of using the internet to search the web. Classrooms are too good with projectors. Sitting facilities are also good. NSS National Service Scheme is run by the students

Hostel Facilities :

In Hostel rooms college provides a bed, chair and study table, fan and light. Good quality food is given 4 times in a day starting with the breakfast in that we get fried rice, puri chole and once in a week bread and fruits, ending in lunch and dinner we get rice and seasonal vegetables, sunday specials, and monthly specials are also there in the menu.

Remarks:

For me it was the fact that this college was deemed to be the best college in all of the North East and also in India. The college faculty is also good and also the benefits of staying in the hostel inside the campus. The scenic beauty in and around the campus is also one of the factors for me.

Remarks:

There are always pros and cons to each and every college. But it is the duty of the students to adjust to it. The excellent education and learning processes that the college provides, makes it ignore the negative side of the college. Also, the atmosphere and faculty members are great.
