Remarks :

This University is one of the best universities in India for all courses like engineering, arts, science, literature, architecture, etc. for the engineering courses that I pursuing you need to qualify for the jee, jelet (for lateral admission).

Course Curriculum Overview :

This University is best in all classes, all faculty members are also best, classrooms are well-conditioned. And I'm pursuing Civil Engineering and this department is the best of all classes as per my observation.

Class Size : 149Course Fees : INR 5200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The students also get an internship from this university and they can get a stipend of about >1 lakhs per month. Many companies and institutions can provide this facility to the students and after the internship, they can be placed in many good companies with good packages.

Placement Experience :

From the 5th semester, the students are getting the chance to place in many respectful companies and the placement percentage is also very high. 75-100% of students are got their job in on-campus placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY you can complete your bachelor of engineering degree in just 8000-9000/- fees. And here is a special work office available only for scholarship purposes so you don't need to worry about your course fees and all these.

Campus Life :

The university organizes many fests. like annual fest, tech fest etc. and they are also best in class. and if you want you can also be a part of these. and there are many clubs related to sports, music, art and other things and this is the most lovable part of this university.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
