Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is a very intriguing course, the practical applications are endless and noble. At ESIC the student's faculty ratio is around 6 students per teacher during group discussions every day and 9 students per cadaver which is very convenient for the students and teachers for learning. All faculty are MD postgraduate doctors from renowned institutes. The teaching methodologies are very versatile starting from small group discussions, self directed learning, presentations, seminars, projects etc. The exams here are conducted very often. Small part completion tests are conducted almost weekly for every subject which helps track your progress very efficiently.

Fees and Financial Aid

The current fee structure: All India quota - 1 lakh, State quota- 60000, IP quota - 30000, SC/ST - lesser. Scholarships are provided to students by the government often like Telangana scholarship scheme is there for state students, also central government schemes are applicable too. The students are required to undergo a 1 year internship at the college itself after 4 years of the MBBS course with a stipend amount also provided during the year.

Campus Life

4.5

ESIC Hyderabad has its own cultural community - 'synapse'. They organise very frequent activities and events for the students along with daily quizzes and case studies with prizes for the same. The college fest -AUXESIS 2021 waa organised this year by the 2019 batch which lasted over a span of 10 days with all sorts of sports and cultural themed activities like - football tournaments, badminton, volleyball ,cricket , TT, chess, carrom , dance , singing , rangoli, treasure hunt, Netflix gala, halloween, etc. Classrooms here are air-conditioned 250 seaters, 120 seater and 60 seaters depending upon the use. There are smart boards and projectors for a better teaching experience. The teaching happens digitally with presentations. The college lacks a few sports facilities but still has football, volleyball, TT, badminton courts, and cricket nets for practice. Students run all the social groups like mess community, cultural community, student community etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are very nice too with 2 boys sharing 1 room for the first two years and separate rooms for everybody from 3rd year. Girls currently are 3-4 girls sharing one 2BHK apartment within the campus itself too. There is no wifi in hostels but there is a 24x7 hot water facility. Mess is a little average in food quality, some days it is nice, and somedays you have to order food. The price is 3675 rs per month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.
