Remarks :
You must pass your 12th board exam to select B com (Hons) at Medicaps University. You can get the application form from the college, its fee is 2000 rs. Date to fill & submit the application between the months of June to September. No reservation is provided by the college. Fees should also be taken in cash during the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My main is to become CA so I opted for B com as my Bachelor's degree. There are enough teachers to handle the management but if we talk about the faculty: student ratio then it is approximately 1: 20. Most of the teachers here are done with their Phd's but are a little helpless in teaching in online mode. There are 3 mst in a semester and then the final exam, mid sem are not that tough but end sem is enough.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to sit in the interview from the 6th semester. There are many companies visiting our college, some are Byjus, Amazon, Deloitte, cisco system, hdfc bank, icici bank, eicher, force motors etc. The highest package of about 16 lakh is provided by the cisco system in our college. About 60 - 70% of students are placed every year. I will be preparing for CA after Bcom.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One big rule in Medicaps is to pay your fees on time otherwise you will not be able to give your end sem exam. Studying in this college is a little expensive. I have applied for post matric scholarship which is given by our state government but till now didn't receive the amount. no financial assistance is provided by the college.
Campus Life :
Medicaps conduct an annual fest called moonstone which is a very exciting moment for the students, this fest continues for 3 days & conducted between the semester in the year. The library is huge and you will find each & every book here. the classroom is spacious and bids enough. There are many sports facilities provided by the college & cultural activities are also conducted which are a little boring. There are clubs for photography, innovation, art & craft, dance & music and many more.
