Remarks :

10+2 with PCB and 60% in 10+2 above all surpass the state cutoff. The application form will be available online on the website dme. Assam after the declaration of state merit list. Application fees are around 1k, Application date will be given on notice itself. No, our college admission process is better and I am satisfied with the rounds and procedure of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose to pursue MBBS because it's my childhood dream to be a Doctor. and my family fully supported me to achieve this point in my life. The faculty-student ratio is good almost. 20 teachers on 200 students in a respective dept. The qualification of faculty members is just awesome.. well qualified. The teaching method is quite good too. clears all related doubts and enhances skill and conceptual learning. Exam in MBBS is like a daily schedule routine. To pass the exam is a little bit tough if you haven't prepared seriously for it. nevertheless, you can at least pass easily if you have studied all important topics and chapters up to the extent then.

Internships Opportunities :

There is no any company, Our college itself gives us precious opportunity to do internship in our college departments as per rotation shifts in almost all departments and regarding stipend that is around 31.5 K for Interns in our States Medical College

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it's a Government Medical Institution so here talking about fees hikes will be something that should be avoided. Here fees for a year is around 31k which is comparatively less than other States medical institutions. Yeah, but the cost of study will be quite high because you have to buy your own textbooks, practical manuals, logbooks, copies, and related it different things required in your daily domestic life survival. In our college, after completion of the MBBS course of 4.6 years, we have to do one year of internship in our very own college campus itself in which we get our stipend too from our government.

Campus Life :

In 2020 Medifast was celebrated in our college in the month of March viz. SYNTHESIS. Our college has a Central Library and one more library in which you will get books from UG level to SS level of all departmental subjects. As a part of ECA our college organise different competition and events in our campus and related Hostels boundaries within. We have our GMCSU profile on social media platform run by our us students itself.

Hostel Facilities :

Our Hostels have both Single bedded and Double bedded room we get 24*7 Electricity supply, water supply without any kind of interruptions. We also have a mess attached to every single hostel. and in there workers too which are paid by Government body itself. Regarding meal quality, it's just so satisfying and gets a balanced diet too. Veg and Nonveg both are given at dinner. Morning meals are quite good too. For Hostel Accommodation we have to fill up a form in that regard and have to submit it to the college administration. To rent a PG that is available too nearby but the charge seems to be quite high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBBs because it's a noble profession. A human being must serve people and society and it can be best done by being a doctor. That's why I chose MBBS. All faculties are NEET: PG qualified. Faculties are great experienced but few of them fail to deliver their knowledge fully but that's only a few. The faculty ratio is 1:20. The teaching method is mainly practical. Clinical exposure is given from 1st year itself. And for the theory part, there are smart classes available. The frequency of exams is high. More than twice a month you have to appear for an exam, may it be a semester or internal assessment or part completion test. Exams are not MCQ-based and the difficulty is moderate. A punctual study from starting makes it easy to pass any exam.
