Remarks :

The entrance exam was SNAP. Moderate difficulty and each year a specific section is tough. You can find the application form for SNAP on the website snaptest.org. The exams are conducted well and you get two tries to improve your score and your best score from those two tries is considered. The application form also includes payment of a fee for each college you apply so plan your colleges accordingly which you want to convert.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well structured. I chose the Core MBA programme as it is an amalgamation of 4 disciplines for the first year and specialisation is chosen in the second year. The faculty is qualified and provide real-life examples and case studies to ensure that the teaching is very well in touch with recent times. Faculty to student ratio is good and doubts are encouraged. Pedagogy is decent and student participation is required to extract maximum input from teachers

Internships Opportunities :

Live projects and internships are constantly opened for the batch by the Placements committee. Students can apply for these live projects and sometimes can also convert them for Summer internships. The roles provided are relevant to each specialisation and help students in preparing for Final Placements as well.

Placement Experience :

The placements provided are excellent as SIBM Bengaluru has carved out a good name amongst companies with a legacy of 13 years. The median LPA is around 10.40 which has been increasing significantly over the years

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are high as is the norm with most private MBA colleges. However, due to the pandemic situation, there has been a reduction in fees as requested by the government to all MBA Colleges. You can apply for a scholarship through the admissions department and there are HDFC Credila loans that provide good interest rates as well.

Campus Life :

The campus might seem small for some people but it is structured well and maintenance is top-notch. The library, reading room and IT lab are well equipped. The hostel has over 100Mbps speed Wifi routers equipped which are quite sufficient. SIBM Bengaluru prides itself on being a student-driven college and it is amazing as students get much prior experience of managing institutions by being part of student committees which ensure there are opportunities for all students in areas such as management, creativity, multi-tasking, competitions etc. All details can be found on the official college website

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is decent. The water is hard so ensure you get a sedimentation device or something to manage around that. The meal quality is excellent and very healthy. The registration process is simple and is explained clearly once admission is taken.

Interview Experience :

GE-PI-WAT process is used by Symbiosis to filter SNAP test candidates for college shortlisting. The Group Exercises have basic current affair topics such as GDP, inflation, social media boom, cryptocurrency, AI etc. Personal Interview revolves around what projects you did in under graduation and if you are coming from a job then what work experience did you gain from there is questioned. Writing Ability Test gives you a topic and you have to write a 200-250 word paragraph on it in given time.

Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
