Remarks :

SIBM-Bengaluru is definitely a college that provides a plethora of opportunities to students, ranging from Live Projects to Placements in terms of career and also a good mix of co-curricular fields. The main differentiator of this institute is the growth rate at which it is progressing and the SIBM brand. The admission process is quite smooth. There is assistance provided to the students at every step of the process. The peer group at SIBM-Bengaluru is an added benefit to the package. We come across people with not just the mindset to complete an MBA, but people with dreams who want to achieve success. This is what defines the character & growth of the institute. Apart from that, the campus is not though quite huge, but a good fit packed with tremendous amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The examinations tested the learnings of the students, hence, they were moderately tough but, if the student has paid attention in class and genuinely learned from the skilled teachers, he could have easily managed to clear the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship opportunities that keep coming around the year. These are basically to boost the profile of a student and allow him to get exposure to different fields, making him a strong contestant. Summer Internships include a lot of MNCs taking part in the placement process.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are offered and the college has been recording a 100% placement now. The average packed stands somewhere near 12 LPA and the highest ranges up to 32 LPA. Some companies that visit include ITC, JP Morgan, Morgan & Stanley, DHL, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I got a live project in a firm named brand torque LLP in Mumbai. The process from the college's end was seamless. Arranging the interview to the documentation and after support was great. There are quite a good amount of placements on board too.

Campus Life :

The Life at the campus is very interesting. Though we have to frequently pull late nighters to complete the assignments and cope up with the studies this is balanced out when we play in the basketball court or badminton court or billiards. There are many clubs that are run by the students for the students which include clubs for acting, singing, dancing, and a lot more. The college infrastructure is well maintained. Though not too big in size, it is decent enough.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel facility is well equipped. We get hot/cold filtered drinking water. The food is decent enough and cleanly cooked. The hostel is not too expensive for students. Affordable rates and a fluent registration process are the key pointers.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I faced a GD where we were asked to discuss electric vehicles in India. The other topics as I heard from my batchmates were also quite interesting. The process includes GE- group exercise PI- Personal Interview WAT- Written ability test. This process starts once we clear the cutoff criteria for the institute. I had assistance from my coaching classes who helped me prepare for these rounds.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
