This college has an aesthetic view, which is covered by trees all around. It's an art and science College which includes several BA and BSC courses . Department of economics has more students in this college because it provides a degree in mathematical economics and economics with political science. Application forms are provided online i.e; one has to fill the form online. Admission is purely on a merit basis, one has to score above 75% in their 12th in order to get admission in this college. If you belong to the reservation section you have to score above 60%. As I have mentioned before this college has more greenery and during the rainy season, it's a wonderland. The college has more than 40 amazing faculty. Teachers are more caring and concerned about your studies. Notes are given for each and every module. A negative side would be about the cleanliness toilets are not neatly maintained. You cannot take any photostat inside the campus.

I choose the subject economics because I had an interest in the subject. There are more than 40 faculty members. Teachers are more caring and concerned about students. College is affiliated to Kannur University. Exams are conducted punctually. Even during corona issues, they have conducted their semester examinations. Exams are not that difficult to pass one has to score 16/40 to pass the examination.

Since it's a government college there is no fee for the students who have taken their e-grants scholarship. In order to gr the e-grants scholarship one should have their income certificate, and income should be less than 1lakh per annum. One who doesn't have an e-grants scholarship they have to pay a fee of around 800Rupee. College also provides several scholarships like central sector scholarship.

Several programs are conducted every year. There would be a freshers day in order to welcome the new students, Several other programs are conducted apart from this. The College library is very attractive,it provides several books on different genres. There are no specific amenities in the classroom.It's an ordinary classroom. There is a separate indoor stadium for various sports activities.
