Entrance Preview

Admissions are usually based on your XII board scores. I opted this college because it was one of the best colleges in Bhopal, known for great academics, a great atmosphere, good faculty and facilities. Apart from good education it also imparted good moral values in students.

Internships Opportunities

The college in itself does not provide an internship but it did offer student exchange programme. The college was also supportive of outside internships, i.e. if the students applied for internships outside the college, the college professors would write recommendations for them.

Placement Experience

4

When I was in college the college did not provide many placement and job opportunities. Being a non-technical college, very few students pursued jobs immediately after college, most of them opted for higher studies after graduation. However, a few companies visited our college during our final year and we had quite a decent placement scenario.

College Events

5

The college actively hosted various events. Apart from the annual function, celebrated every year in the month of December, the college also hosted alumni meets, cultural festival, sports days, Sri Sathya Sai Baba's birthday, Fresher's Party, Farewell Party, etc. The college also participated in inter college competitions at university .

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provided multiple scholarships including the university provided the scholarship for young and talented girls.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has an annual alumni meet where the graduates of this college are invited to interact with each other and the existing students. It was a great opportunity for networking and making contacts.

Admission

The admission process is quite simple. All you have to do is fill up their admission form and submit the required documents such as a photocopy of your X and XII mark sheets, etc. The admission forms are available in the office and you can also meet a career guidance counsellor in the college who will help you chose a particular discipline.

Faculty

5

The college faculty was well qualified. Most of our professors were P.Hd and others were in the process of getting their doctorate. The college policy required rotation on professors for various courses, i.e. each professor should be able to teach each subject. Even though it might sound a little strange, this was actually a great policy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects are all theoretical, don't expect practical knowledge, syllabus for many subjects is very extensive and Faculty wont even complete the syllabus. You need to study most of things on your own. They would bombard you with 3 tests for internal assessment for each subject and sometimes they take it as suprise test and sometimes even test for 2 subjects might clash on the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In 10th i got good percentage , but was not intereted that much in science , so i took up Commerce + Maths , then passed my 12th standard with 93% and i realized my decision was good. Then after 12th i had to do graduation so i choose B.com + Hon. As this seemed me the best option rather that BBA or any other. On an average , in my college , there were 40 - 50 students in each batch. There were different teachers for different subjects. There was not much mess and the teachers were enough to handle and teach all the students . Teachers in government colleges have years of experience , thats the reason many people get into these colleges , in my college too teachers were qualified and were ready to clear any doubt . We were having 2 semesters in the year , half - half course in both , these papers arent too difficult to pass if there was a proper study. I dont found these papers much difficult.
