About my college.

I have applied for a better college than this (sreenidhi) but I have not got any seat there because of the rank which I gao in the entrance exam (eamcet). Not only sreenidhi I have applied for many colleges like CBIT,MGIT,VNR,VARDHAMAN,GEETANJALI . but I have not got a seat in any of them. For admission to get a seat in our group is If we get a seat in our college we need to submit all the educational documents they wanted along with the joining report. The admission process will be done very easily.

I have chosen the course (ECE) in this college because I like the electronics field than the computer science field. For every 80 students, we have 2 faculty members. It made us easy for clarification of doubts. Many of the faculty have done PhD in electronics. Apart from th junior lecturers, they have done some Mtech or BTech. For every 2 months we have internal exams.as college conducts them there is no much difficulty in writing them.

Many internships are offered in our college. based on student interest they can avail them. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Wipro offer internships in this college. some of the internships I have done is on IoT, AWS.

More than 150 companies provide placements in our college. companies like Wipro, IBM, Deloitte and many more come to our college for offering jobs. The package is offered based on the student performance and skills he/she gained. The average package offered is 7 LPA The least package offered is around 3-4lpa The highest offered package is 12 LPA. Based on students qualifications they get job opportunities. Around 75 percent of students are getting placed in our college. After getting the degree I am planning to go for higher studies.

The fee for our course in the year (2019-2023) is 72000 per annum. Apart from that, we have a Jntu fee and a transportation fee. Jntu fee varies every year. the first year it is 9000. Second and third year it is 6000. For the final year, it is 10400. Scholarship provided by the government is available in this college, students who joined through counselling can avail of this scholarship.

Many fests are conducted in this college a national fest called Borealis is conducted once a year but for the last two years, it is not conducted because of covid-19. Some tech fests are also conducted in the month of August and September. Our library has a vast variety of books and we have access to the national digital library(NDL). so there is no chance of textbook scarcity. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for purpose of the digital class. Regarding sports and extracurricular activities, our college has a SAC team organised by students who will take care of all activities. there are sports CV conducted in this college for training we have some coaches who will help us to improve in them.

4 hostels are there near our college. The hostel rooms are comfortable and spacious, but the food provided there is not so good as expected, not so bad but it's just fine. I think for students who live in hostels it is a major problem. Registration for the hostel is simple just provide college details and id card provided by the college. I am a day scholar and I live in the area called Secunderabad.
