Remarks

First, if you read in Delhi then you of course choose the after 12th class is du and after the process the fill the admission form. Then the first list of cut off just realised my percentage was good for history Hons in just ist cut off but unfortunately I just missed it then it just go down and then in the third cut off list I got my admission to this college, I have a good percentage of marks and the main benefit is that I have obc quota whose that helpful for backward students I choose the history, Hons because I have enough marks in this subject around 87/. It is enough to get admission in this college and any other subject, age is no bar for education and this college is prove it. And the main thing is that when the cutoff list is just launched then it's must you should run up because your sheet and chance can miss so just try to keep fast, whenever your percentage goes for the around the cutoff marks then just go(the according to cut off ) college and take admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is b.a history honours and I choose it because I m interested in history. There side lots of faculty members I think around 100 but I have just per semester around 4 to 6 that's all another faculty it's just your library member and your administration staff who can help you just for bus pass form and laptop form and at the end, you just see him for your examination form that's all. They are well behaved and nature is good but sometimes you feel it so unconscious if you are a Hindi background school (only for new students because after that your nature is change and you just tell the farratedar English just like me) and all staff are around graduate level most of are so stylish when you get to enter the college you just see him can't define that whose that student whose that professor & Exam are there every six months l( a semester is six months) exams are most of the time easy if you read your syllabus. Other then you are finished in the exam hall b'coz chitting not alow

Fees and Financial Aid

Every course whose that is available in this college that was always high rated infect you can't imagine that if you are a low middle class student. My course is b.a history the first year fees is around 10500. But on the online portal, it's around 11000 because there side the hidden charge of GST. In the second year, it's plus 2000 more. And I think whenever I know that the commerce program is around per year 18000: that's all. There side the one thing whose that give you the relief that is fee concession its a good thing and the highest concession is around that 3000 another if you want more scholarship then go to the Delhi scholarship portal. Because it's not the duty of the college. On the portal sites are help you for that no any other things.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest is there side available but I don't think so they are famous for that because most of the students Are just tell the ramlal college fest (because this college is a part of Shri Ramlal college ) so if you want to join for the fest then go to the ramlal. ya, there a lot of gathering by social groups like a music fest, painting fest and of course a food fest whose that amazing now I missed it. They side also have a big library a lovely library. Most of if you want to clear your syllabus then the Aryabhatta college library is enough .for journal you can read the newspaper in the library. And another thing is that the structure of our college is so simple if your friend is playing with you hide & seek then you can easily catch them. Because there side most of the open place whose that available for cricket, basket, football and an acting group whose that related with rangamancha. Same thing with the political life of this college the student election whose that really can disturb you.

Other Applied Colleges

Motilal Nehru College | M.a history

I love it but I want change it & go for something new

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
