Remarks :
Quite welcoming from the main entrance to the Chairman's office, you are always escorted be it by the staff or your seniors. The Chairman/ Principal takes time to explain everything in detail, listen to respond and all your queries are answered. Further, at different meet points, there are seniors ready to answer your queries.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as hospitality is what I always wanted to pursue. The faculty was an amalgamation of strict disciplinarian and friendly ever helpful. It always felt like a second home. Being a Day Scholar meant the classes started from somewhere between 8-9 am and went on till 3-4 pm with the usual lunch breaks and post classes we had training/mock sessions in each department rotationally. The faculty was always approachable.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship with brands like Taj, Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad, Ginger-A tata Enterprise, Sarovar Portico, Fern, Saiyaji and stipend then would range from INR 1100 to INR 3000. During the tenure which would range anywhere between 3 to 6 months, one would get exposure of all the departments of the Hotel be it from housekeeping to front office from security to HR.
Placement Experience :
In the final year, the training faculty start arranging for campus interviews and during the initial years also for the internship program. the grooming process starts from the time you step on the campus and you are a work in progress till you leave. The faculty not only helps you while your active study years but are just a call away for any assistance anytime. In case of interest to further study abroad or work abroad end to end assistance is offered for the same as well
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The accounts team was always there to assist with the same. In case of partial payments or be it for loan assessment. We also had internships and the training department faculty would always be there to help with preferences and choices and groom us accordingly for the same so we grab it in the first go.
Campus Life :
The classrooms had individual chairs with attached tables, CCTV in all classrooms, A beautiful Auditorium, A huge Library, rooms for practicals sessions, a cafeteria, beautiful lush garden and a playground. activities like celebrating the new batches that join the family every year that is the fresher's party to farewell for the super seniors, from celebrating the vivid vast cultures and festivals to sports day, there was never a dull day at the campus.
